Hunter stormed out of the exit of the hospital and headed towards his police cruiser.

"Where's my daughter?" Hunter froze in his tracks, turned slowly and faced the evil bitch that happened to give birth to the two females upstairs that he loved dearly.

"Stay away from Rae." He said forcefully.

"Oh silly boy. Wrong daughter. I want to see my baby." Sasha looked at him like she was daring him to deny her. No worries bat shit crazy lady! His phone pinged in his pocket and he took it out, not taking his eyes off Sasha.

"She's been transferred to a bigger hospital up north, that's better equipped to deal with premature, addict babies." Hunter knew he was a good liar. He had to be for certain aspects in his job.

"That's ok. Rick can drive me up there to see her. Which hospital?"

"Over my dead body will you see that little girl." He ground out through his teeth. He saw out of his peripheral vision that the message was from Rae.

"You get this look on your face when Raegan is involved. It's like even though you're trying to be all menacing at the moment, you get this glow about you and I know that message was from her. Go ahead and reply, then we're going for a little drive." She moved so fast, that Hunter didn't have a chance to thwart her when she lunged forward and stabbed a syringe into his neck. "You got about thirty seconds before your legs give out on you Deputy Hughes, so might want to make that message count. It'll be a while before you see my eldest daughter again... If at all." An evil grin spread across her face.

Rae – I'm sorry :'(

Hunter hated that she felt the need to apologise to him, when it should be him apologising to her for storming out. Whatever drugs Sasha had injected him with were starting to take effect and he was seeing double in front of him. He had to say something in this message that would make her realise something was up. Her name! The look she gave him every time he called her Raegan instead of Rae or ReRe, damn near tore his heart from his chest.

Hunter – I need you to know that I would do anything for you Raegan, but... Fuck! I don't even know what words to use right now.

He wasn't lying. His legs got wobbly underneath him and he could barely keep his eyes open, let alone put a decent sentence together.

"Don't let him fall!" Sasha said from in front of him, before strong arms grabbed him from behind.

"I'm sorry." Said a deep male voice into his ear. "She threatened to kill me and Gigi if I didn't help her steal the baby."

Rick was the only one game enough to call Rae, Gigi...

"You'll... Go down for... This too Rick." Hunter managed to slur.

"As long as Gigi is safe from her, I'll happily do the time."

Hunter's phone buzzed in his hand and he knew Rae had replied. He looked at the screen, but couldn't make out the words and groaned in frustration.

"Here... Let me help you with that." Sasha said with mock sweetness as she snatched his phone away. "Get him into the car before someone realises what's going on!" She ordered Rick, who walked Hunter backwards and placed him face down across the backseat of what he recognised was Rick's new Ford Ranger.

"Aww did my girl upset you Hunter?" Sasha pretended to be sad as she read out the message from Rae. "I'm not sorry for asking, but I am sorry I upset you. You are one of only a few people I know I can trust with Amelia. I hate it when you use my whole name btw and she put a sad face. Did she really name my daughter Amelia? Gag much. Little bitch who ruined my figure has a much better ring to it. Drive Rick!" She ordered. "I think I might reply for you, before I block her number to stop her from chasing you down. That little whore has been chasing you for years, so she no doubt will now too, so let's send her the wrong way shall we?" She turned and winked at Hunter, who was forcing his eyes open, even though he couldn't see her through the haze. "What sounds like a policey excuse? I heard about this thing on the radio, so it'll do." She cleared her throat and then spoke deeply as she typed, sounding nothing like him, but giggling to herself as she did it, none the less. "I'm joining a manhunt task force Raegan. They need more hands to find this prick that's been killing cops down south, so I volunteered. I can't be here right now. It's fucking with my head." She turned and smiled at him. "Well it's not all lies now, is it Hunter? My girl has been fucking with your head for years." Hunter kept his mouth closed. Knowing for a fact that the task force being set up to search for the cop killer was up north, not down south. Hopefully between Rae and Nash, they'll figure out that it wasn't him messaging. "And block!" Sasha added happily. "That's going to rip her heart out when she realises you've blocked her."
