Rae had no idea how they'd gotten to the bedroom, but she also couldn't care less. All she knew was that one minute she was taking the initiative and kissing him first for a change and the next, he was laying her down gently on the bed.

Their lips never stopping their assault on each other. Their hands never stopping their touching and discovering.

Hunter lowered himself down on top of Rae, pressing himself against her again and hating the fact that they were both still fully clothed.

"Hunter!" Rae moaned as she felt exactly what getting this close to her, was doing to him.

Before she knew what was happening, Hunter had jumped off her, stormed to the bathroom, slammed the door shut and turned on the shower. After a few moments she heard a frustrated growl and a bang and guessed that he'd probably just smacked his forehead against the wall of the shower.

She knew why he'd done it. Knew he couldn't get passed her age, but she couldn't help the feelings of inadequacy that was rippling through her at him walking away from her yet again.

With silent tears making their way down her cheeks, Rae got up, kissed Milly on the head, got into the bed, turned the bedside light off and cried under the blankets.

"Fucking idiot!" Hunter growled for the third time since he got into the barely warm shower. He couldn't even bring himself to jerk off like he'd planned on doing in there, because he was already feeling like a big enough jerk.

After washing off, drying and dressing in his boxer shorts, Hunter walked quietly back to the bedroom where Rae was. He stood in the doorway and listened to her trying to muffle the sound of her crying.

"Rae..." He whispered. She stiffened under the blankets and sucked in a deep, shuddering breath. "We just have to wait three more weeks."

"Go away Hunter." She grumbled from the bed.

"ReRe please don't push me away." He begged, walking into the bedroom. The minute she threw the blankets off and sat up on the bed, he knew he'd used the wrong words. Very, very wrong.

"I'm not the one who pushed the other away Hunter." She snapped. "You literally just dumped me on the bed and walked away from me! You left me feeling like absolute shit! Feeling like I'm never going to be good enough for you!"

"The way I walked off was wrong, I get that, but I had to before we went too far and how the hell could you ever think you're not good enough for me. You literally felt what you were doing to me!"

"If I cared about us going too far, I wouldn't have kissed you! Go away Hunter"

"Rae, come on."

"Fuck off Hunter!" She screamed, waking Milly up in the process. Hunter moved towards the crying baby, but Rae jumped up and shoved him away. "Don't even think about it!" She said as she picked the baby up.

"Get the fuck out." Hunter turned and found Nash glaring at him in the doorway.

"Nash."

"No! I don't know what the fuck happened here tonight, but I do know that to get Rae to yell at you like that, you really hurt her and you promised me you wouldn't hurt her! You go in there." Nash pointed to the room he'd just come from. "I'll stay in here with the girls tonight." Nash walked over and wrapped Rae and Milly up in a tight hug.

Hunter knew better than to keep arguing. The walls in motels were too thin and they'd probably already annoyed the neighbours enough.

"This conversation isn't over Rae." Hunter said sadly as he walked out the door, closing it behind him.
