Y/n walked through the school halls towards the computer lab. She had a paper she needed to finish and walked in. She could see the Purple Dragons in the back of the room playing some VR game and spotted April near them. She seemed hard at work so Y/n walked to her own computer. She put down her bookbag and plopped onto the seat, booting up the computer and logging in with her school email. She had decided a row in front of April would be fine to eventually bother her. Y/n saw the light starting to sway above her and heard April gasp. She turned around and saw her looking up only to see her boyfriend fall from the light fixture.

"Oh, no, no-" he let out an oomph as he landed on the chair and Y/n laughed a little.

"Hey Donnie! Thanks for coming." Y/n turned away and listened to them talk while she worked on her paper. Eavesdropping wasn't nice, but she was feeling nosy.

"No probbles. I love this place." He jumped out of his chair, stretching his arms with a big inhale. "Smells like learning and puberty." He sat back down and crouched into the chair. "So, what'd you need help with?"

"My computer science project. I need you to check the code to make sure I haven't missed anything." At this point Y/n started to zone out of the conversation with April and Donnie. She focused on her history paper about Sun Tzu. While she usually liked history she did not like getting a random topic about a guy who wrote a giant book that she would undoubtedly have to read, or rather listen to, later. Y/n glanced back to see her boyfriend, only to find him gawking at The Purple Dragons. She tuned into the conversation now, walking towards them.

"April, that's your name, right?"

"You've known me since kindergarten Kendra."

"Uh-huh. Who's this guy, and why does he look like mold?" April sighed

"Jeremy, Jason, Kendra, this is my friend, Don--"

"Othello Von Ryan," he smirked and Y/n leaned over to April as he continued his introduction.

"What's up with D?" April looked over at Y/n.

"Oh- hey Y/n. He's trying to join the Purple Dragon tech club."

"Gross, he does know they're absolute jerks right?" As Y/n finished her sentence Donnie yelped, Kendra had stomped on his foot after he had slid his hands up her arm. She could feel her blood boil for just a second.

"Sorry, Von Ryan, but to join this group, you gotta bring something to the table. So... buh bye." He smirked a little as she finished talking.

"Prepare to be, Von Ryanned." He spun around pulling out his tech bo, and pressing a button so the tools would come out to show off. Y/n was proud of his bo and smiled. She was a little salty that he was trying to impress Kendra and the others, but said nothing. She didn't really know why and let the whole ordeal happen. By the end he was given Jason's purple satin hoodie and Y/n huffed. Donnie finally noticed Y/n and showed her his new jacket. "See this Y/n? I'm officially part of your school's cool crowd." Y/n smiled at him and glared at Kendra.

"I don't think you wanna be associated with these guys Hun."

"But- Purple satin jacket! Did you even feel the silky smoothness?" He held the jacket out and Y/n gently pushed it back towards him.

"I'm sure it's super smooth, but I don't think you should be around them, they're not good people."

"Pish posh, they're geniuses like me."
