Mikey
Y/n didn't typically socialize at school, it didn't help that her father had some of the staff under his thumb. It was easier than ever to keep employees with her father's new look. She enjoyed being at school and not under his constant watch. There was little to nothing that Y/n really wanted to do at school though, so was it even worth it? She didn't have any friends because of the rumors and the kids at school didn't know what was true. Of course, she tried to deny them at first, but when it started to get out of hand she just ignored them. What was the point? If no one would listen to the truth then they don't get to hear it. She walked into her first period, Geography. She made her way to her seat and glanced at the boy sitting next to her. It wasn't the normal guy who sat there. He had a round face and wild, untamed brown curls. He wore an orange sweater that seemed a little big on him and some black jeans. He was focused on his arm doodling random designs into it. She finally sat down and got out her textbook. No book should ever be as heavy as this one was. They had barely used the textbook but it was required to bring every class. No one enjoyed it, but everyone brought it or shared it with their desk partner. The boy finally looked up and glanced around, he had beautiful blue eyes that reminded her of the sky. She looked away from him and pulled out her notebook. She glanced at his mismatched shoes that seemed to fit his vibe. One was blue and the other was red with doodles all over them. Hmm... Guess he's the artsy type, Y/n thought. She placed her pencil case on her textbook as the boy tapped her.
"'Scuse me, sorry I don't have a textbook. Can I share with you?" The boy smiled at her sweetly and she nodded before even thinking about it. Hey! HEY BRAIN!!! You have a boyfriend, take a breath! She yelled at herself internally and put the textbook between them. "Thanks so much, I appreciate it." He had this little lopsided grin and looked at the book. He just stared before turning back. "Actually, I'm just starting today. Could you tell me what we're gonna do today?" Y/n sighed before nodding again.
"Yeah... sure." She went over the textbook with him and he kept scooting closer. She ignored his movements and leaned away from him. She looked at the book intently as the boy made small hms as acknowledgment. She looked at him, locking eyes. She sighed. "I get that you're new and don't know, but I have a boyfriend."
"I know." He smiled and Y/n cocked a brow. What??
"What do you mean you know?"
"I mean I know." He kept up the grin and looked around. He looked back to Y/n and tapped a broach that was clipped onto his sweater. Y/n looked at it confused and leaned close to it.
"What's this? Who- are you some assassin or something cause I-"
"Starlight, calm down." Y/n leaned back and cocked a brow. "Is it clicking?" Y/n nodded a little and touched his face. It felt different than how he usually felt. She cupped his cheeks and chuckled a little.
"How the hell did you do this??" She leaned in and left a small kiss on his nose. "You are full of surprises Mikey." She happily spent class sitting close to Mikey and answering any questions he had for her.
RaphY/n stopped by the school gym to work out a bit before class. She met the normal guys there in the morning. It was mainly wrestling and football players, but someone new. She met up with her normal weights buddy and smiled up at him. He was a tall, muscular, football player that she had known since childhood.
"You ready for me to finally bench more than you."
"The day you do that, Y/n, is the day I come out, cause no way you'll be able to bench more than me." She rolled her eyes as her friend spoke and grinned. They always had this sort of banter in the early morning. She of course started her workout by sending a text to her loving boyfriend. She always texted him in the morning when she went to workout or when she went anywhere. He was such a worrywart, but she loved that about him. She looked around and saw the new guy looking over at her. She narrowed his eyes at him before looking at her friend with a cocked brow.
"Who's the guy with the staring problem?"
"Oh, no clue. He kinda showed up a bit ago and has been working out with whatever he can, but he's been chilling out." Her friend put his hand on her shoulder and led her to the machines. The two friends started to work out together, spotting when needed and keeping each other on track. It started to get closer to the bell and Y/n's friend stood up straight, stopping them both mid-set. "Hey, we should start cleaning up. You don't want to be late to math do you?"
"Wha- aw shit, is it that time already?" Y/n sighed and started to clean up. Her friend said quick goodbyes leaving her to clean up the area alone, but not completely.
"Do you need help?" The familiar voice spoke and she turned around to see the guy again. It was him and a few more wrestling players left. "Sorry he left you like that."
"It's fine. It's my turn to clean up." She was short and curt and looked away from him, continuing to put away from of her things. He stayed close and continued to put away some of the weights left behind until it was just them. She sighed and turned to him with a glare crossing her arms. "What's your deal?! Can you not take a hint??" She stared as he jumped slightly, it almost made her feel bad. She looked around at him before he finally spoke up.
"I-I'm sorry I wanted to see if you needed help so I could talk to you and show you my cool disguise. Leo said it would be stupid, but you were with your friend the whole time and I didn't want to bother and..." the boy trailed off as Y/n leaned closer to him. He was about the right height and build, but she couldn't believe it. "Y/n? Angel? What's wrong? Should I take it off I-" Y/n cut him off with a sigh and a small smile.
"You know, you could have just texted me saying that you were going to show up. I wouldn't have ignored you all morning if you had." She leaned closer and took his hands. "It's very sweet you came here to see me Raphie. You should text me next time though."
"Yeah, you're right. ... Sooooo, next time? I can come back?" Y/n laughed at his selective hearing and nodded.
"Yeah, I want you to meet my friends at some point ya know-," she was going to continue but the bell rang and she groaned. She huffed and looked at him. "I have to go, will you-"
"I'll clean up everything. You go." He kissed her forehead and smiled as she went off to change quickly and make it to class. It was definitely a nice surprise to see him at her school.
