Chapter 21

You went to the infirmary after you finished all of your classes to check on Hobi. Snape had given Jungkook and Taehyung detention for not making their potions homework so they said they'll visit him after their detention.

"Hello, Madam Pomfrey. I'm here to visit Hoseok." You greeted Madam Pomfrey.

"Hello dear. Go on right ahead. He's awake and doing well." She smiled at you and gestured you to come inside.

You walked to Hoseok's bed and there you saw him reading a book already.

"Hobi! You're okay!" You said and ran to hug him. You felt yourself about to cry in joy now that you saw your friend in good shape than the other day. Hoseok hugged you back and was grinning widely.

"Of course I am. Nothing I can't handle." He said.

You sat beside Hoseok and started catching him up on what happened in the days he was passed out.

"You know Yoongi keeps on visiting you." You said which made Hoseok's cheeks turn red.

"You're kidding right?" He asked you, he didn't believe it, not the slightest.

"No, I'm serious. He even visited you earlier didn't you guys talk?" You asked him.

"When I woke up, he wasn't here." Hoseok said with a frown.

"Believe me, he likes you like that. He's working hard to find out who attacked you just like we are." You said.

"No! Y/N, you have to stop him. He can't meddle with this and you, don't get involved." Hoseok said with fear laced in his words. The light atmosphere changed into a heavy one.

"Why? We wanted to find out who he is so he can't hurt anyone else and to give justice to you!" You explained but Hoseok shook his head.

"Please Y/N. I don't want anyone else to get hurt that is why I'm telling you to just leave it to Professor Dumbledore and the others. It's too dangerous." Hoseok said and you nodded.

"Okay, Hoba. But do you know who did attack you? You can just nod. You don't have to tell me a name." You asked him.

"Yes. I saw him with my own two eyes. Performing the cruciatus curse on me in the dungeons." Hoseok shivered at the thought. "And he has access to Hogwarts. That means he visits often especially now that the Triwizard Tournament is ongoing."

That made you feel shivers down your spine knowing that his attacker lurks in the castle and has casted a forbidden spell on him. You imagined how painful that must be for Hoseok.

"I'm so sorry to hear that, Hoba." You said and hugged him. "It must be so painful. I'm sorry I wasn't there." You cried.

"Hey, it's not your fault Y/N. I was just at the wrong place at the wrong time." He hugged you tightly. "Exercise caution, Y/N. He might disguise himself as a student again using polyjuice potion. That's all I can tell you."

"It's alright. Thanks for the warning. Get well soon Hoba. Taehyung and Jungkook will visit you later after detention." You said.

After visiting Hoseok, you decided to go to the dormitories and rest for a while when you saw Beomgyu sitting in one of the study tables writing something on parchment thinking he must be doing some homework.

"Need help?" You gave Beomgyu a small smile.

Beomgyu looked at you with a freaked-out face, like something bad had happened. He shook his head wildly and continued writing on the parchment without saying a word to you.

"Is something the matter?" You asked but Beomgyu kept writing at fast speed until he finally gave the parchment to you and ran outside the dormitory. This made you worry at the same time freak out. You read what Beomgyu has written on the parchment.

Park Jinsong did it

You were taken aback by the words written on the parchment. How could Beomgyu say that Jimin's father did it? You continue reading it.

Please don't tell anyone, especially the professors. Keep it between the hyungs, for the sake of my life.

And by that, you quickly ran to your potions classroom and found Jungkook and Taehyung already on the way out.

"Y/N? What's the rush?" Jungkook asked as they saw you panting and sweating.

"Follow me." You frantically said and led them all the way to the black lake where you were confident enough to discuss it without anyone eavesdropping.

"What the bloody hell is going on, Y/N?" Taehyung asked you, all sweaty and tired from running to the black lake which was a long way from the castle.

Before saying a word, you gave the parchment to them and they read it, their eyes shocked at the revelation.

"Does this mean..Jimin might be in on this?" Jungkook asked you in a whisper.

"I don't think so." You said but there was this little feeling that he might be but most of it was leaning towards Jimin not really knowing a thing.

"Come on, y/n. The man has been trying to get to you for months, he's been very nice to us this year when he was nothing but a vile soul since we were first years. Why now? Why this year?" Taehyung said.

"I just have a feeling that Jimin doesn't know anything." You defended him because you felt it in your gut that Jimin was genuine towards all of you.

"First it's Hobi, who knows who could be next? It could be you!" Taehyung argued.

Suddenly, you heard the bushes ruffle behind you and all of you looked behind to see a boy with ruffled, black blue hair wearing robes with a green necktie come through it.

"Lee Minho?" You called him. "Were you eavesdropping on us?" You said with a slightly irritated tone.

"Y/N! No I wasn't." Minho said. "Well, a little, and how many times do I have to tell you, it's Lee Know."

"Don't you have anything better to do?" Taehyung asked with eyebrows furrowed.

"Sorry, I was out bullying some hufflepuffs when I heard the conversation." Minho said, then out followed a fellow Gryffindor, Han Jisung.

"God, Jisung. Can't believe you're still hanging out with Lee Minho." Taehyung said. Jisung was one of his oldest friends in Gryffindor, that said, they met at the train station during first year and hung out since then but they slowly drifted apart when Jisung met Minho then Taehyung met you.

"Jealous much, Kim?" Minho smirked.

Taehyung was about to throw a punch at Minho's smug face but you quickly intervened.

"What did you guys hear? Don't lie to me, I'll know." You said as you pointed your wand at both of them.

"Calm the fuck down, y/n. I just heard you talking about Park. I mean seriously, are you that blind to see that he's in love with you?" Minho answered in disbelief. "Gosh, how dense can you be?"

You were taken aback by Minho's answer, surely you thought he'd have caught on but you overestimated the guy you knew was famous for being part of the overly handsome but dumb Baboracha. It seemed like he was safe to let go. You knew Minho since first year as well hence, he calls you by first name.

"Alright then. If I hear you spread nonesense I swear to Merlin I will knock the living daylights out of you two!" You huffed and pushed them away.

Jisung and Minho went back to the castle while you, Jungkook and Taehyung were still there discussing on plans to find out if Jimin is really innocent or is just good at playing one.
