Chapter 4

You woke up a fair bit early in the morning and without second thoughts, you slipped out of your bed and dressed into your school robes, fixed your hair and decided to go to the black lake for a quick stroll before breakfast. It was a bit chilly since it was still very early, around 6:00am you estimate and breakfast was usually served around 6:30 to 7:00. You wanted to get a bit of peace before everyone's melting gazes are on you and with the pressure of being a Triwizard champion and the first one to be a fourth competitor, you sure needed this relaxing moment.

You made your way to the black lake and sat down on a tree stump where you, Taehyung and Jungkook always hung out.

"Well, well. If it isn't the lovely and controversial Triwizard champion." You closed your eyes in annoyance with hearing the Slytherin's voice.

"I came here for some peace of mind, Park. Go away." You rolled your eyes at him.

"And? You're distracted by my enchanting looks?" He smirked.

"No. I am annoyed by your awful voice and disheveled hair. Well..I am annoyed by your presence in general." You said and rested your cheek on your hand.

"You're mean. I like it." He said and sat down beside you on the stump.

"Didn't you just hear what I said?" You looked at him with furrowed eyebrows.

"I did but I decided not to listen." He shrugged.

"Well, so much for peace and quiet." You groaned and decided to stand up when Jimin pulled you back with force..too much force..which caused you to trip over the tree root and land on Park Jimin. You stared at his beautiful eyes for a moment, your faces only an inch away from each other and lips brushed slightly until he smirked.

"You look lovelier up close." He said and attempted to cup your cheek when the both of you heard someone clear their throat.

"Excuse me. No making out in public." Kim Namjoon, a Ravenclaw prefect had firmly said and with that, you quickly pushed Jimin away as you stood up and straightened your robes.

"Joon! I swear, we weren't making out!" You defended.

"Y/N, I saw what I saw. I'm just giving you a warning, alright? We may be friends but I'm still a prefect." Namjoon said as he straightened his blue tie. "Anyways, breakfast is going to be served soon. The two of you should head back to the castle. And Y/N, Dumbledore asked to see you after breakfast." He said one last time before turning around and walking back to the castle leaving you flustered. Namjoon got the wrong idea and now he was going to tease you all about it now. You met Namjoon when you were a first year and him being a second year. You had trouble with your Transfiguration lessons and he saw you practicing on your own at the very same tree stump early in the morning and offered to help you. He was your first ever friend from another house besides Hobi. You always thought Ravenclaws were snobs but Namjoon proved you wrong and ever since that day, you occasionally ask him to tutor you when you have trouble in some classes and the two of you basically hung out at the libraries and even broke in the forbidden section twice. He was one the brightest wizards of his age. He's even friends with Taehyung and Jungkook and actually offered them help with some classes they have trouble with.

"So you're friends with that Ravenclaw?" Jimin asked you.

"Yes. Why do you care?" You replied.

"Oh nothing. Just a bit of family feuds here and there but I don't really care." He shrugged.

Now you remember. Jimin's family is one of the most prominent and powerful wizarding families that existed for generations although they had a reputation for serving You Know Who during the The Great Wizard War but everyone didn't really care about that now that the war is over. Namjoon's family is also one of the most prominent and powerful wizarding families but they stayed loyal to the good side and were never tempted. Jimin's Father and Namjoon's Father fought each other during the war, good thing none of them got seriously hurt or worse, died. It was one hell of a fight as the witnesses said, hell, your father was even a witness since he was there helping Namjoon's father as a fellow auror.

"I'm heading back. Also, I really want my hair clip back so please." You said.

"You'll have it back. I still need to think of a good favor." He smiled mischievously and you rolled your eyes and proceeded to head back to the castle when he caught up to you.

"Can you stop following me?" You asked him, annoyed.

"What? I'm not. I'm heading back to the castle. You're too full of yourself." He laughed.

"Screw you!" You growled.

The both of you walked back to the castle and into the Great Hall together with him unintentionally and you were very irritated of him. You dashed to your usual seat at the Gryffindor table, a few students looking at both you and Park Jimin when you both entered the Great Hall.

"See you around, y/n." He bid goodbye but you didn't respond or even looked at him.

Great.

Now the girls have more reasons to hate me.

"Why the hell were you with Park Jimin?" Jungkook asked as he stuffed a bun in his mouth.

"Are you guys..like a thing now after the train incident?" Taehyung sadly said as he handed you a strawberry jam sandwich which he made.

"What? Hell no! I went to the black lake to relax when Park appeared. Now my peaceful morning's ruined." You huffed as you angrily munched on the sandwich.

"Did he give you your hair clip back?" Taehyung asked, his sullen expression now gone.

"No. He told me he's still thinking about a good favor." You replied.

"Damn it. I'm really sorry about this y/n. If it weren't for me losing Ribbert, you still would've been wearing that pretty hair clip of yours." Taehyung said. "I'll help you get it back."

"Don't Tae. It's okay. I don't want you getting involved with Park. You know how he is." You said, worrying that Jimin would try something bad on Taehyung if he decides to meddle in the two of you's business. You remembered how he jinxed your classmate, Cha Eunwoo for standing up to him during D.A.D.A class. He puked slugs for 24 hours. You wouldn't want that to happen to Tae.

"I'll get back on him someday." Taehyung plainly said as if he's not challenging one of the most notorious student in Hogwarts.

The three of you finished eating breakfast. You had charms class today, your most favorite subject but unfortunately, you had to skip it because Dumbledore asked to meet you after breakfast.  You told the boys to tell Professor Flitwick so he wouldn't think you're skipping class just because you have outstanding grades.
