Kirti despised the mall it was too loud for her, and she hated the noise but over a certain period besides work she hated leaving the house however clubbing was a whole different situation she despised the human population, or rather the male species granted not all of them were bad but every one of them that was attracted to her made her skin crawl, thank God for her trustworthy air pods plugging her ears she maneuvered her way through the mall silver spoon was playing and she was trying so hard to control her facial expression as she thought of the choreography for the song a slight tint of blush made its way on her cheeks.

entering forever 21 she paused the music in case she needed assistance and did not want to be rude sifting through the racks so far, she did not find anything that she liked it was a high-end event that her dad was invited with his family so she knew that she needed to make a good impression for his sake if she had it her way she would use a huge ass t-shirt and sweats.

bringing her out of her thoughts was the sensation of small hands grabbing her leg, looking down she saw an adorable baby boy his doe-like eyes rimmed red and nose puffy, she picked him up, " hey little one are you okay?". realizing that he might be afraid of her she introduced herself " my name is Kirti " too shy and distraught to speak the little one just clung to her like a baby koala causing her to coo at his cute reaction. looking around she noticed the boy alone knowing that he must be lost or wandered away from his mother she made her way to the front desk and requested an announcement.

" oh my god kai thank heavens you are okay" at first Kirti was too stunned to speak his voice deep like the ocean and sweet like honey made her breathing hitch, add to her misery he was tall, and let's not talk about his physique the way his black shirt clung to his body defining his perfect structure made her head spin, his undercut half in a bun while couple strands framed his caramel face, dragon eyes looking frantic at the little one in her arms, his sleeve looked fresh but that had been her weakness I mean her bias had one too, his lip ring stood prominent matching his eyebrow piercing, what brought to her senses was the fact that he was so irresponsible which irked Kirti to no extent.

"what the hell is wrong with you?" she gave kai whose name she had learned from the Adonis in front of her, he stood taken aback by her anger " how irresponsible can you be to leave him alone what were you so busy doing that you did not notice that your son was not by your side " he was about to say something but Kirti was not done she was livid in fact " I do not want to hear your lame excuses next time be more attentive to your surroundings or leave him at home with your wife, whom I am sure will be so damn disappointed in you". with that Kirti turned to walk away when a little voice caught both her and the stranger's attention " kitty bye bye". 

looking at the cute toothless smile she calmed down and waved a bye ignoring the smirk from the stranger who made her blood boil but also her ears heat up, he reminded her of someone, but she just could not figure it out.

paying for her dress she decided she could call it a day and go home.

"Mum, I swear I was so mad how could someone be that irresponsible I was livid, and kai was so adorable and cute I am afraid to think if someone other than me had found him, the annoying part is, he looked like someone I know and I can't seem to pinpoint whom" 

"Kirti I am proud of you but as much as I love you right now you need to go and shower you look like a homeless child" she pouted at her mum's comment. 

soaking herself in the tub she found her mind playing the events of today not everything but just one particular person until it clicked, the tattoo sleeves and the piercing of the built body reminded her of Jungkook, well he was not as hot as him or a carbon copy, but certain aspects reminded her of her bias... 

shaking her thoughts off she quickly got out of the tub to change and get ready for dinner... throughout dinner, her thoughts kept running back to him, she was highly flustered and frustrated " did you find the dress?" her brother interrupted her thoughts and boy was she grateful for it " yes I did it was so damn hard to even find one that looked simple".

"But you found one which is good" she nodded and continued helping her mum clean up even though they might live in a mansion and had maids to take care of stuff but they always helped where they could something kirthi loved about her family even though her dad was a majority shareholder of his company and her brother owned hotels across several countries they were humble always remembering how far they had come in life with god's grace.

and kirthi? well, she was a qualified paralegal and an attorney she has her own office, who would have thought the quiet girl who hated conflict would do such a daring job? right? but there was always something secretive about kirthi, a secret they vowed and had to keep away from her parents which only Kaar, Dylan Nerita, and lastly Kayden knew.

but Kirti's parents did know nothing went past them that's the status they held. however, they granted their daughter her privacy.
