" It's so pretty kitty" Kirti chuckled at the little boy whose eyes sparkled at the simple chain. she placed one half around his neck while the other rested around Kirti "so this means we will be together forever right?" Kirti was never sure about forever since it was a word that never existed to her however she did not have it in her heart to let her bunny know that " yes bun forever". kissing his forehead he snuggled closer to the source of warmth tired from playing with her he fell asleep.
" kai" Kirti quickly shushed kiraan not wanting to wake up the little one, she motioned him towards the balcony there was something she needed to do, he quirked an eyebrow which earned him a pointed look.
"I owe you an apology for that day in the shop" she mumbled softly feeling shy and embarrassed. " I mean you could have been more responsible in other words I am not sorry for swearing at you but I am sorry for the assumption I made."
kiraan listened to her intently as the girl rambled on, he wanted to stop her but her voice like a siren wouldn't allow him. " Kirti it's okay, I understand why you did it no hard feelings."
Kirti sighed in relief she did not want any bad blood between them especially if they were going to spend a week together, they have been chatting for a while but she did not apologize she felt things like that were better done in person.
she smiled at the man in front of her who returned it eagerly his dimples showing, oh shit Kirti's eyes widen, making her ears hot and her cheek flush, kiraan noticing the sudden change began to panic " kitty are you okay?" she stared at him, the name he had called her .she had only ever heard it once at the club and her cheeks burned even more remember how deep and how much honesty dripped form his voice.
figuring out what he had called her and also remembering the promise he made at the club he bit his lip, her demeanor had changed she seemed to have a million thoughts running through her mind but all about one person, and the said person was currently standing in front of her.
" oh yeah I am fine" Kirti shyly stated tucking her hair behind her ears showing off her piercings peeking at Kiraan's interest " so you like piercings?" the sudden change in the topic was something that she was grateful for as she felt the tension in the hair slowly dissipate.
" yeah I kind of do, I want another one but I am not sure as yet" she meekly stated.
" not sure as in you not sure where to get another one? or not sure if you want another?" tilting his head he waited for her answer.
Kirti shook her head " actually both" letting a soft laugh flow from her voice box kiraan smiled, and checking her phone she realized she had received a message from her mum finding out what time she was going to be back home.
" shoot well I need to go, it was nice talking to you, Ummm please send me a list of the stuff kiraan likes so I get everything for him"
" oh yeah sure will do"
smiling at her retreating figure kiraan knew that he was getting somewhere with her and no matter how fast or how slow it took to win her over he knew that he would try his best.
"you mean we will"
kiraan rolled his eyes at the comment. " why were you so quiet all along?" he snapped back "cause I can and I wanted to".
mumbling some curse words under his breath he kissed his brother's cheek and closed the room door behind him.
"aunt Raji? thank you for allowing me the time with kai .I am sorry that I am rude but it's already late and mum must be worried so I will take your leave and i'll fetch kai just before you'll leave".
" oh no honey it's okay kiraan will bring him to your house since he will also be staying there, I gave the staff time off and I don't trust him he will probably burn the house down just by making toast". Kirti let out a laugh at this.
" you don't mind watching over my babies?", she shook her head " no aunty Raji it's the least I can do". giving the older woman a hug she left the house.
" if that boy messes this up he would be the biggest idiot on this planet"
" he won't trust me" Raji did not respond but continued reading which she was initially doing before Kirti had come to bid farewell.
