The weather were sympathysing on the funeral. The clouds hurled into a shadowy point warning everyone of the rain it will brought but despite it the assemblage for the simple funeral was not shaken. A mass were held then a few words of goodbyes from friends, relatives and co workers were also given. But the whole time Jeremy and Ariel never spoke. Ariel were wearing a deep black as mourning apparell and wore a black sunglass to avoid anymore leak of emotion. Jeremy on the other hand was stoic and emotionless. He was wearing his black polo shirt and wore no sunglasses. He just keep on staring at Cassandra's coffin with unknown expression. Emme however were in her white dress and wear a thick black glasses covering her red swelling eyes. She was crying in between the mass and had not stopped until her sisters casket was laid down. Later on the process a lightning struck then thunder follows after that the rain drops heavily and before they all knew it Cassandra was laid down in the land, six feet under and never going to be seen again. Ever.

Slowly the people fade away as the rain were heavily pouring and secure shade, Jem however just stood there motionless then he walked closer to her. Kneel in her muddy soil and soaked himself in the rain.

She was burried under, now theres no turning back and she wont ever come back. He cried again though the rains were covering his tears away he didn't really mind.

He even wonders if how easier it would have been if he died too but No Cassandra would not want that she would not let him. So instead he think of going into the militia or trained as a police instead or any deadlier jobs to make his sufferings much easier.

That would have been a lovely thought until a sweet voice told him something.

'paint for me my love. .paint for the wonderful things you see. .'

He nodded. He will paint for her, but wonderful things? There will be none without her.

"why don't you just come back my wife? I'll paint for you even my arms are sore and my fingers were numb. I'll paint the world for you." He whispers as he touched her name on her tombstone.

'In time we will reunite my love. .' the tiny voice said sweetly and with longed passion and though he knows to himself he had created her in his head it really sound so real like she was in his side all the time.

"Can't you come back? Wouldn't you come back???" His tears fell again as he hugged the tombstone and wished it was her. Then changing his moods as he sobbed and poured his heart out he stared into the tombstone and wished it wasn't there. He kneeled and looked up to the dark sky.

Have you my Lord have no mercy? Why break my heart and leave me here? Why not take me with her?

He hear no response only the sound of the wind blowing and the raindrops pouring in angry haste.

Why? He asked again. Why my Lord? Why?

. . . . . . . . . . . . .

There is no reason and right thing to say, only that in time a perfect person is destined to be with us. Love comes in different ways, I had love my sister both as a friend and a mother. My sacrifice wasn't futile nor was my love. Its only a part of life that someone comes and goes.

My friends, I will leave you too. In the heavens I will go. But feel not bad and cry not. Compassions I do not need for we tend to forgot, that to Live is Christ and to die is gain.

No I haven't run away from life and If I may, I will wish for it longer but God had different ways for things and in Him I have given it all. Now that I am free from every sorts of pain I could feel in my coruptible body, I cannot wished for more except one thing. That to those I have left behind may not forget to live and live their lives well.

Adieu my friends. Adieu. In your hearts I remain and in your memories I shall prevail. No one is dead, as long as you remember someone so well. Tis I say, let my story remains in your heart forever.

Kisses and goodbye till we see each other again.

A/N:

I won't blame you if you hate me but I ask you not to. Not because someone leaves her life is ill used. Not because she had suffered means she wasn't happy. We chose to sacrifice because we do it out of love and morale. Cassandra's love is both motherly & sisterly thus everything she had done and took consideration is for the well being of her sister. Yes she might have passed but she had a good life. Contrary to what you think, she might have suffered but isn't in the end she achieved love? She lived and had lived her life. Not a single time she would alter, now that her true reward is given wouldn't you give it to her? Give her peace and rest she deserve?

The story was originally plotted on this end. It may have diversed but its always been going to be like this. Im sorry if I break your fairytale but believe me a person is capable of love more than one time. We are capable of healing and loving so as I wrote the end the idea struck me. A story was born out of this, a story whose life is in shred and verge of fulling and living again.

Yes, its no other than Jem and his fate. In the next book I will write his pains and agony and how he will strive to live. In that story too, Emme will need herself in check. She loves him still and her sister ask her to take care of him for her, but the question is, could she really do it? She love him but he loathe her. He blame her for everything and now he was, he was plain devastated.

Will love prevail? Or will it just be an endless clamour of pain for the both of them?

The story would be entitled, 'My Sister's Husband'. .a twist of the first book ei?

Also, I will publish another family drama. This time, a sister's hate for her brother and her love for his father. It is ofcourse with a side story of romance and I promise you its not a tragic ending. It was ofcourse unfinished but believe me I usually think or write the ending as I write the begining. Hehe. (^_^)V anyway its entitled, Thorns of life. .you can check it out on my profile. :)

And before I forgot. .the next two chapters are teaser for the next book.
