𝕮𝖍𝖔𝖎𝖘𝖆𝖓 woke up with a complete headache. The throbbing in his head didn't help with the darkness in his eyes.

Around all he could see was black. He screamed but his voice was muffled, almost stuffed as he let out an audible gasp.

Instantly fear eats at him. His heartbeat was so loud it could echo.

Usually, when people reincarnate or transmigrate it happens when they're at their lowest in life or they get hit by a bus. Neither happened to him. Rather he was the opposite of the two.

He was just a university student who had reached the peak of his life. He came from a normal nuclear family. That summer he was supposed to graduate with a chemical engineering degree from Tsing Hua University.

The future was so bright he could go blind. To top it off, by a gust of luck he had won the lottery.

It was three weeks before his graduation. He and his friends had gone out for the early celebration. At the peak of the moment, they decided to buy lottery tickets to test their luck. They had all teased him as he was known as the golden boy within the department for having good luck.

They crowded as he scratched the first letter.
"6"
They said in unison
"6"
They all held their breath at the last letter.
"6"

"You won!"
They celebrated ignoring the ominous words of the number. But even if they noticed they wouldn't care. Ignorance was bliss.

Two million won.

And he blinked.

Everything went black. Gone were his college life, nuclear family, luck, and degree. All he knew was the binds on his hands, feet, and the covers on his head.

He struggled with the ropes but the friction cut wounds to his wrist. He could feel an hour had passed. His teeth chatter at the feeling of rough cloth and his breath at the constrained flow of his airway through the thick sack.

By thirty minutes, when half his strength was gone he pulled the binds. The sack was soon taken off as he breathed a much-needed air of oxygen. On his wrist was the nasty wound of rope burn. It was dripping blood as some fell on the floor.

His eyes scanned the scene. Nothing about the situation was optimistic. He was in a cabin in the middle of nowhere with mountains and trees hands bind and sacks on his head.

He wondered how he went from winning a lottery to being kidnapped. Nothing more of the situation screamed safe. With his hands untied he undid his legs stretching his body. It seems he had been placed so for a long time. His bones rattled at the movement of his muscles.

His hand touched the handle creating a creaking sound as he pushed the wood. Although calm his nerves were eating him. If one could feel the heartbeat in his chest none would doubt his fear.

As he stepped out the door he learned he was from one of three rooms in the small cabin. Most people would take time to discover the different doors to learn about the ideal situation.

But choisan was born different, perhaps it was due to his luck he was given strong guts. And they had never screamed at him to leave more than this moment.

As he took the first step he paused. The door was only but a few feet away but his legs creak on the wooden floor. He couldn't help but feel the intentionality of the woods as it snitch him out, whispering about his whereabouts.
