2) A was just a normal human. However one day he stumbles across some ancient ruins coming across an old shrine and a statue for one of the gods. He accidentally awakes the god and B (the god) became interested in A.
3) there were multiple gods (XD, HD, PVP, etc. or we can go by other names like lust, greed, war, life, death, etc.) and they soon stumble across A and all seem to take an interest in him. They decide to keep A. Perhaps it was similar to a human with a pet for them. Either way they begin to spoil him (perhaps the gods were already in a relationship together)
4) the gods come across an abandoned child and end up taking them in and raising them.
