2) Sapnap is a pirate but he was also known for taking risks and not making the smartest decisions so it wasn't a huge surprise when he fell overboard and nearly drowning until something began to pull him out of the water (quackity or Karl. I also think ot would be cool if they were either octopus or eel mermen)
3) Sapnap ends up catching something or someone in his net when trying to get dinner. He finds the merman adorable and keeps them on the ship flirting with him.
