2) Techno was the first Phil had found. He found Techno scared, defensive, and badly injured. He took him in and helped nurse him back to health slowly gaining his trust. It was only when he had gained his trust that he learned where Techno had come from and what he went through. Next was Wilbur. Phil had found him living on the streets stealing what food he could to survive. He invited him over for dinner and eventually convinced Wilbur to stay. The last to join the family was Tommy. After all the story had traveled around quickly about Phil taking in and raising abandoned children so when Tommy was surrendered to the orphanage and proved to be a handful Sam turned to Phil for help. Tommy immediately seemed to bond with the family and it wasn't a question that Phil would keep him.
