The two of you entered a short opening to a meadow. Loki stepped out towards the center and began to move his hands in a ritualistic pattern that unlocked a portal onto the ground. Magic swirled from his fingertips in a brisk haste as he concentrated strongly on his creation. Bigger and bigger the outlet developed, so much so it turned into two different exits. The first one beamed a picture of the rainbow bridge, and the other burned of lava waterfalls. "We have to make a decision," Loki stated.
"Easy, it's the first one correct? That's Asgard!"
"Yes, but I don't think it will be that easy. Remember everything is not normal at the moment."
"But what if we do end up in Muspelheim?"
"We'll be fine." He reassured.
"Surtur?"
"Trust your gut."
"My gut says not to trust that firey pit." You two ended up arguing yet again, but over which portal would lead you to the accurate realm. "I just don't think-" You got cut off due to Loki pushing you into the domain of fire. A terrified shriek escaped your lips as you plunged into a sizzling crater of blazing fumes. It became more scolding hot as you fell. You squint your sight tight for the embrace, but to your surprise, unexpectedly landed softly. When you inched your eyes open you didn't see glowing fire and destruction everywhere, however, a proud ash tree stood firm in Asgardian soil. A rush of peace ran over your spirit as a sigh left you motionless on the safe grounds of the Aesir's home.
"Told ya!" Loki remarked in a witty-childlike manner as he descended from the portal above. "Things aren't always as they seem these days." The doorway from Vanaheim evaporated in thin air. You couldn't believe the serendipity you had just gone through. It took a minute for your heart to settle down as you became aware of your surroundings. Something in the atmosphere was off, it felt negative like malfeasance occurred throughout the land. The sky was encased in dark ominous clouds and a matching mysterious breeze that sounded comparable to a banshee screaming in the distance. It caused chills to pour over you as this was not the Asgard you once knew. Before you could speak, a numbing phenomenon struck through your arm, glancing down you saw that the entire thing is a sickly green, almost like a zombie. Loki detected it at the same time as you and a simultaneous gasp from the pair of you filled the silence. "Here," Loki said as he wrapped a black cloak around you, shielding your right arm from anyone noticing.
"I can't feel it at all!" You panic.
"Shh..." Loki covered your mouth. "We are a huge threat now, we can't come off as suspicious!" He asserted. "I know it may seem like a problem now but we got this handled. Stay strong for me (Name) You got this!" Loki's confidence and composure in this situation enabled you to control your breathing and find your footing. He reassured you of the problem and it truly impressed you nonetheless. Your heart skipped a beat with the amount of faith Loki had in you to continue the expedition. It caused you to smile under his palm. He removed his hand from your gentle lips as he understood the peace agreement. Loki kissed your temple as a reminder of your safety. "We need to head to the market." He whispered.
You nod as you place the hood on top of your head trying to hide your blushing cheeks and swathe your arm away out of sight.

Moments later after walking around the kingdom in pursuit of the stores, you two stumble upon a fairly large path of multiple markets that harbored all kinds of nourishments and goods. It seemed to be the main source of food and business of trading in Asgard. The closer to the palace, the higher quality of interest. The farther away, the poorer the quality and more dangerous it becomes due to magic getting involved with the trades. There were many different beings in the marketplace. Some Vanir, some Aesir, there were even a couple of dwarves, elves, and vibrant creatures wandering about. And as feared, you two venture farther and farther into the crowd until you reached a shady alleyway. "Are you sure about this?" You question Loki as you elbow him with your good arm.
"Yep..." He sighed trying to not lose hope. He led the way down the dim road that reeked of unholy entities, it stank of moldering wood and rat droppings; spoiled cabbage, and mutton fat. Chamber pots on every corner of the street filled with feces from critters lurking in the shadows. It nearly caused you to hurl, but you only let out an icky dry-heave. Stale dust seemed to be the only thing filtering through the ambiance as it became harder to breathe in the thick haze. "This looks to be the place." Said Loki.
In front of you stood a rather undersized booth structured for someone on the shorter side of things. "Is the merchant a dwarf?" You question.
"Not just any dwarf. It is Eitri the one who created Thor's hammer and helped create Sif's hair after...I...never mind, not the point. Anyway, he can build anything, I'm sure he can make something to get the Askaba out of your arm."
You gulped harshly as you peek down and see the considerable amount of sharp weapons on display at Eitri the Dwarf's stall, urging up some anxiety since you have no idea what was to come. Out of the darkness appeared what you could only imagine Eitri. Before Loki could get a word out the dwarf shouted. "No!"
"I didn't even say anything yet." Loki laughed.
"Don't care. I'm not dealing with the God of Mischief AGAIN! I cut your head off once Loki, I sure as Hel ain't afraid to do it again."
"Eitri I am not here for that! I am past all that now. This is much more serious than the old deal." Loki tried reasoning with the man.
"No!!"
"This determines Ragnarök!"
"I already know your son, the wolf Fenrir starts it."
"Yes...But for a different cause. You could save Asgard a few years!" Loki pleaded.
"What is it?!" He snapped with anger.
Loki sympathetically placed his arm behind you, slowly bringing you closer and revealing your damaged arm. "The relic that gives the gods and goddesses our powers is stuck in their arm. We need you to remove it or build something that can get it out safely without harming or killing them."
"Fine! But, you, Loki, must do something for me."
"What do you want?"
"Save me a trip and snag a piece needed for the project."
"And that would be?"
"A fang, but not from just any beast. I need Geri's. The greedy one. One of Odin's wolves. Bring me one of his fangs." Loki stared in wonderment at the dwarf's request. "Only his fang is the sharpest thing that can cut through their skin at this point." Eitri examined your green arm, witnessing the wear and tear it's given your body over the years, and how it spread and continues to grow throughout the blood. "This...is serious." A pause lingered for a second before he spoke again. "I can attempt to extract it, but it may not fully work."
"We have to try." You said with hope.
