The man in front of you glared at you with his wolf yellow eyes.

"Is this the one who is causing all the trouble Loki?" He said in a deep, serious voice.

"Uh. Well, yes. Way to be rude!...Sorry (Name) this is Heimdall, Asgard's gatekeeper."

"Nice to meet you, Heimdall." You said with a curtsy and smile.

"You as well."

"Okay, now that, that's over with, (Name) and I need to do some homework. So if you'll excuse us-" Heimdall placed his sword over Loki's chest, stopping him from exiting. "And where exactly are the two of you heading off to?"

"...The library..."

"You may pass."

"Thank you." Loki sighed in an annoying way while rolling his eyes.

You walked very close to Loki, not one hundred percent sure about your surroundings.

"This is the Rainbow Bridge, it's what gets us to my home and the Bi-Frost."

"Whoa!" You say as your left foot steps onto it. The way that the bridge responded to your weight pressing down against it intrigued you a lot, considering the fact that it would become lit up in reaction.

"Are you okay there?" Asked Loki.

"Yeah...this is just so amazing to witness, it's sort of like the dreams I had back at home!"

Loki walked in a straight line, while you on the other hand were skipping and twisting around in circles until you become dizzy. Loki grabbed your hand telling you to calm down and not be so excited...it would draw attention. You took a deep breath and relaxed a bit. Once the two of you reached The Royal Asgardian Palace of Valaskjalf, Loki knocked on the big double doors. They slowly crept open, making a huge bang sound when completely apart. Waiting in the doorway was a man with a golden eyepatch, white hair and beard, and a golden spear in his left hand.

"Hello, Odin..." Loki said in a tone as if he was not happy to see him.

"Oh. And have you, Loki, found true love already?" Odin teased the god of mischief.

"No father! This is the one who claims to have the Askaba."

"Just get things back to normal, son!" He yelled with incompetence.

Loki angrily walked away leaving you and Odin, so you quickly ran and caught up to him. Loki noticed that you have tagged along.

"Sorry that I stormed off and left you."

"That's okay...but, why does the Allfather dislike you so much? That information hasn't kicked in for me yet."

Loki let out a long sigh, "Odin is my adopted father. He has lied to me my whole life and other things, but I won't get into detail."

"Oh, I'm sorry."

Moments later roaming many different abstract corridors, you and Loki came to a large entrance, on the far side of the kingdom, with what seemed to be a different foreign language written on it. Loki held the door open for you. You stepped in and before you laid probably over a million books. The library was ginormous. You left Loki's side to explore the many different books while he was talking with the elder librarian. On the far right of the room was a glass window that stretched across the entire wall, and against the window was a cushioned bench. You sat down, staring at the beautiful sunset in the distance while the golden realm of Asgard lay beneath you. It was a perfect view of the Rainbow Bridge and the sun shining off the surface of the water falling under it. A hand touched your shoulder. You turned around to find Loki towering over you. "Hi." You said in a calm tone.

"Hey. Help me find the right book. It's titled Vanaheim." You stood up and ran to a shelf with excitement. Your fingers slid across the tips of old and new covers of dusty books, but it was quiet, a bit too quiet. With silence in the library, you dozed off into thought: I am here and not there. I am in space and not on earth. This is crazy. Why the heck did I come here? But I like it here. No, it's not right. What will people back home think? Should I tell them? Do they know that I am gone? What if I don't want to leave... "Found it!" Loki shouted from the other side of the library. Before responding, you blinked a few times as if you did not know where you were. You rubbed your head, feeling dizzy. Then finally, you caught up to what was going on and turned around. "I said, I found it!!" He shouted even louder, now making his way toward you.

"Shhhh!" The librarian hushed Loki.

"Did you fall asleep?"

"No-I just um...went to a different place for a moment, but I'm okay."

"Alright. Anyway, I found some information."

You and Loki sat back down on the bench and began to read a few pages until he found some interesting paragraphs, then he would read aloud.

"It says here, that we have to go to the largest village on the northern side of the realm and find Jon, the man who can take the Askaba out. It says only he has enough magic to extract it from your arm." Loki ripped out a map of, Holldalia, the village where the end lies for the two of you.

"So now that we have everything we need, what do we do?"

"Well, it's too late to head anywhere, so I guess we'll stay here in Asgard until morning, then we'll leave for Vanaheim."

You agreed politely.

"Come, I'll find a small house in the village below for you to rest."

"Wait...why can't I stay, here, in the kingdom with you?"

"You're not royalty nor a goddess."

"So?"

"So, you must go elsewhere. I was being nice, and providing you a home, but never mind that. You may remain in the streets!"

You stood there, staring off, thinking: Wait. I have the relic that he needs inside of me. So he HAS to take care of me, whether he likes it or not.

"Ow!" You said sarcastically reaching for your right hand. Loki's eyes widened, staring at your arm.

"Maybe we can make some arrangements!"

You closed your eyes and nodded, happily.

You both left the library and headed to the resting chambers. Loki escorted you to a large room next to his. "We leave first thing in the morning."

Loki let you be and walked into his room, plopped down onto his silk green bed, with his hands under his head, staring at the ceiling. He dozed off into deep thoughts and rolled over, shutting the lights off.
