I am sick and tired of being lectured by adults who don't give half a shit about what love is, and I don't just mean romantic love, i mean any love that's strong enough that you imagine your life in the future and it would be ludicrous if the person who you love isn't in it, I was always lectured about that shitty quote most people use for family "blood is thicker than water" i hate how people use the incorrect bastardization of that quote to say "who gives a shit about the people you love? These are the people you have to deal with because you were born in their family" no, fuck no the original is "the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb" meaning the bonds formed through hard work and time spent are much more important than those of mere biology, and I think you need to put everything into loving the people you love, if you can't physically be there mentally be there text them tell how much they mean to you, be that embarrassingly loving person because one day this shitty planet will explode and there'll be nothing left, no you, no proof you ever were here, we're all little bits of nothing much but you'd be amazed how much it means to someone to have that embarrassingly loving person in their life, I always want to be that ridiculously loving person, I don't care if people remember me i just want them to remember how it felt to be so ridiculously loved that you could do no wrong
