Chapter 6

Arsyn's pov

Few weeks later, palagi nang sumasabay sa amin si Merliah, wala namang kaso sa akin yon, pero napapansin ko lang kasi na sobra sya makalapit kay Ashlee.

Oh well, that's normal naman these days, teenage life.

I focused on our professor who's teaching in front of me and my classmates.

"That's all for today, class dismiss" kanya kanyang ayos ng gamit ang mga kaklase ko nang matapos ang morning class.

By the way I took stem for my strand in this 2 years senior highschool that I'm attending.

Nakita ko sila ulit sa baba at naghihintay sa akin, and to my surprise, Merliah is not with them.

I felt happy for a moment, knowing that Merliah is not here.

"Zup lodi? Tara na gusto ko na ng spaghetti, burger, chicken, fries-"

"Patay gutom lang Klein? Patay guts?"
Aalis na sana kami nang may tumawag kila Klein at Ashlee mula sa hagdanan.

"Ashlee, Klein, Crista wait lang!!" And there she is. Suddenly my happy mood fade.

And really? Hindi nya ako kilala? She didn't even hesitate to look again?

My eyes become suspicious when I saw her hands clinged into Ashlee's arm.

She shyly smiled at us.

"Let's eat na sa cafeteria" mahinhin nitong sabi saka himagikgik.

I rolled my eyes. Pabebe.

Umupo na ako sa table, I gave my money at Crista and told her to order for me.

While waiting I saw a familiar face in the crowd. Is that him?

Natanggal lang ang tingin ko sa lalaki na tingin ko ay kilala ko nang tinawag ako ni Ashlee. Akala ko hindi na ako kilala nito.

"Here's your food Arsyn" itinapat nya sa akin ang order ko saka umupo sa tapat na upuan.

I ate my lunch quietly, until Merliah walks in.

"Zarkin!! I ordered some milkshake for you, here!!" Ibinigay nito ang strawberry milkshake kay Ashlee. Napatingin si Ashlee doon at tumingin sa akin.

"Merliah, may I ask if there's a strawberry in that milkshake?" I asked politely.

She arched her one brow.

"Uhm yeah? Isn't it obvious? There's a strawberry on top, what made you think that, that's not a straw-" I cut her off.

Kinuha ko ang milkshake saka ko inilipat sa tray nya.

"Ashlee's allergic to strawberries" I said to give her some informations about this man infront of me.

Tinignan ko si Ashlee, napansin kong nakangiti ito, nang mapansin nyang nakatingin ako sa kanya ay agad din nyang binawi ang ngiti nya.

I put my banana milkshake in his tray, I know that's his favorite. His eyes lights up when he saw the banana milkshake that I gave him.

"Thank you Arsyn" he thanked me like a child and I just nodded at him.

"Arsyn 1, Merliah 0" narinig kong bulong sa akin ni Crista saka sya humagikgik.

We continued eating our lunch quietly but someone butts in.

Can't they just leave ney alone? I'm having a peaceful lunch here.

I was about to complain on that person who butts in, not until I saw his face.

"Andrea?" I said.

"You remembered me, well hello there baby" he's my cousin, my mom is his mother's sister.

"What are you doing here?" He leaned closer and gives me a peck on my cheeks before answering.

"I transferred here, I missed you so much baby, it's been a year since we last met" yeah right.

"So you'll staying here for good?" I asked.

"Ofcourse, I'll come in your house later, see you baby girl!!" I smiled at him before he left.

When my cousin left, no one dares to speak, well much better, much peaceful.

The bell rang, sign na dapat na kaming pumasok sa kanya kanyang classroom nang hinatak ako ni Ashlee out of nowhere.

"H-hey, where are they?" Tanong ko. Bakit ba nanghihila ito nang kung saan saan.

"Male-late na ako, bakit?" He reached for his pocket and grab a handkerchief.

He gently scrub my cheeks.

What's with my cheeks? There's a dirt on it?

"No one dares to kiss you except from me" my forehead creased, I didn't heard what he's saying.

"Pardon?"

"N-nothing, and yeah, there's a dirt on your cheek, a very disgusting dirt, I removed it for you. Oh I'll get going, see you later tesoro" he kissed my cheek, where he rubbed his handkerchief earlier and left, also I didn't heard the last thing, because he said it on a very very low toned voice. Weird.

As our class ended, everyone left the school already, so as me. I bid my goodbye to my friends and got home for a few minutes.

What a boring day.

The next morning I went to school, and I'm very dissapointed on what news I just got encountered.

I don't have classes today, Crista as well. But Crista didn't attend school so.

I have no choice but to sit in, into another section.

I walked towards Ashlee and Klein's classroom.

Naabutan ko ang professor nila na nagdi discuss, so I knocked on the door.

Napatingin naman sila sa akin.

I fixed my glasses first before I spoke.

"Good morning sir, may I sit in for awhile? We don't have classes, room 301" He nodded at me and opened the door wider.

"Sure no worries, have a seat iha, sit next to Mr. Coronel. Mr. Coronel, please assist this lady. So proceed"

"Hi there baby girl" I smiled at Andrea, I didn't know he's with the same class as Ashlee's.

"Stop calling me baby girl, you sound like a possessive pedo, dumbass" he just shrugged and laugh.

How come he's still in highschool? He's freaking 19 already.

"Why are you still in highschool, Dre?" I asked quietly. The professor might hear us. Or else we're doomed.

"Dear cousin, have you forgotten that this gorgeous knight infront of you been to a coma before?" Oh yeah right.

"Yeah yeah whatever. Car racing right? Cause of your accident?" I smirked. His smile faded. He pouted and nodded. That's what you get for being stubborn Andrea Genesis Alcantara Fonsi.
