JENNIFER POV

"Put. It. Down." I point at the two men. "Right now." I squint and they groan dropping the ball. I smile softly and hand the ball to Amanuel. Sadly, we've been in the parking lot infront of the car arguing about who is carrying what. "Hey guys, sadie is coming!" Grey yells from the front seat and my heart drops. "Wait- Oh shit..." Zenday whispers widening her eyes at me.

Sadie, she is the sweetest girl ever. She always one upped me. She always did something better. She always made the teachers proud. She always stole my shine. Everyone thought she was the nicest person ever when she really was harsh and rude. But I never spoke about it to anyone. Our parents were friends they thought we made great friends. She would always stomp on my foot at the dinner table, and I would accidently bang the table. Then, I would get lectured about not having manners and interrupting everyone. Gosh and my brothers loved her. They adored her. They even called her their second sister. That one hurt.

I always thought it was my fault anyways. I never spoke up, so I dealt with the... whatever you wanted to call it. I didn't want to hurt my families' feelings or connections and I knew they wouldn't believe me!

"That's awesome!" Jay smiles and they nod. I nod avoiding eye contact. "Let's find a spot it's already... 11:30" I frown, and they nod. "Yeah, this shit is annoying. I'm hot as balls out here! It's damn 98 degrees!" Jazmine screams flipping her sunglasses on. "My boob is sweating." She adds and I can't help but crack a smile. Same.

Marcel grips my waist pressing me against his chest. "I can't with this heat..." I whisper and he just hums pushing the hair out of my face. I grab a bag but marcel quickly takes it and I groan. "Gimme." He just ignores me and raises an eyebrow, silently challenging me. I cross my arms lifting my chin. "Gimme." I repeat and he steps closer but I quickly back up letting all my confidence go. He hums grabbing another bag and we quickly walk our way to the beach.

"Hey, got a text saying she's about to find parking!" Grey says looking up from his phone and we nod. "She hot?" Vinny asks with a smirk, and we all stare at him. Marcel kept going straight though. "I'm just asking, come on?" He puts his hands up in defense. Obviously Grey started getting overprotective but did give her a few praises.

Zenday looks behind her shoulder at me giving me a questioned look and I shrug. I can't do anything about it...

We step into the sand and it was pretty packed.. geez. I take a deep breathe and take my flip flops off. We soon see a nice spot not too far from the ocean. I dig through the bag finding the beach blankets and set them down carefully as everyone sets the food out. The boys figure out the tent situation and us girls ended up clearing out the bags.

   I slide my sunglasses on and I sigh. That took a while. I look around and grey was excited to see the girl walking over. I grab marcels hand and not drag.. cause I couldn't but guide him. "L-lets go.. feel the water. Zenday y-You should come! A-and Jaz!" I say and they nod quickly.

    Marcel just hums wrapping his arm around my waist. I could feel the cold oceans wind the closer we came. "Wait m-maybe we sh- Ahh let's go." Marcel shakes his head not backing out and I frown. He continues walking. "How are you feeling?" Zenday asks me quietly and I shrug. I'm really not sure.

  I just know my stomach has dropped and the only thing being created is anxiety. Insecurities. Fear. Failure. Embarrassment. I just look at her with a defeated look and she shakes her head. "I'll beat the bit- no no!" I interrupt as we reach the water. Marcel WASNT fazed... okay we get it, you're different. Geez.

   "Marcel you have to take the patch off sooner or later.." I giggle. His eyes move to me with amusement. "Mm, do I?" He asks and I do a simple nod. "Yes." I smile and he smirks for a slight second before shaking his head. "Tonight." He responds.

   Once I dipped a foot in then the other I couldn't take it and decided to go back to the sand. I have to face her sooner or later. "After w-we can we um... go in?" I ask Marcel and he nods. "Baby." Marcel speaks and I turn my head to look at him. "How long are we staying?" He asks raising an eyebrow and I look away. "I- we can leave- w-when ever y-you... but- I- the- no more." Marcels finger presses against my lips and I furrow my eyebrows stopping midway. I have a faint giggle from Zenday as they continue walking.

   "No more." Was all he said and I frown. "I don't w-want to... I mean- I do- but- I don't want to um... force y-you to do a-any thing!" I explain and he shakes his head. He kisses my forehead and both cheeks on my face before pressing his lips against mine. "Calm down." He says, his voice rumbled down my entire body.

  I nod in respond and we continue walking. "I'm so happy to be here! You guys are so nice to invite me." I hear and see Sadie. God her body was amazing. She was always perfect.

  "Oh my god! Jennifer! How are you?" She asks turning her head and I smile. "H-hey." I say. "I'm um.. good." I clear my throat. Even though there was nothing to clear. "Ahh, see you still have that little stutter! You should kinda get that checked out..." she teases. I nod silently and look away.

   "That's Jennifer for yah! The little stutter." Grey smirks and I shrug biting my lip. "Who are these people? No offense just don't recognize any of them!" She asks looking around at the 6 strangers. "These are uh- my f-friends. Zenday, Ja-Jazmine. Amanuel a-and Vinny! P-plus... Marcel." I point and they all wave but Zenday and Marcel and surprisingly Jazmine. Maybe Zenday already told her about Sadie?

    "Handsome men, nice." She smirks nodding and Jazmine lays up on her elbows. "Watch it pretty girl." Jazmine says tilting her glasses down. She raises her hands up in defense. "Rawr." She giggles.

   "Hour tops." Marcel mumbles with a sigh. "I-I'm sorry." I frown at him and he shakes his head. "Don't be." He runs his hand through my tangled hair. We all sat down as I sigh. I reach for the food bag and grab zendays snickers bar before it melted, my fruit mix, and a water. "Still weird food habits huh?" Sadie shrugs and Jay gasps. "Aye, she's working on it!" He smirks at me and I furrow my eyebrow. "Excuse me bi- Sadie this is mine so thanks." Zenday rolls her eyes grabbing it. "Do you have to comment on everything I do?" I mumble.

  "I'm just wondering! We haven't seen each other in forever! Let's all catch up!" She claps her hands and grey nods slowly. "How's college?" She asks and grey and Jay bosses. "I'm out of that." Grey shrugs including Jay. "Jennifer?" She asks and I gulp. "One more year..." I say and she nods with raised eyebrows. "I just finished..." she shrugs

  "This bitch..." Zenday groans.
