{Jake's POV}
"I hate myself for being fooled and manipulated so easily. If I actually thought it through this never would've happened and I would still be friends with the music club and probably rehearsing with them right now!" I kept thinking to myself until I reached my mother's house trying to wipe away my tears before entering.

"I'm home!" I tried to say it normally but my voice cracked.

"Hey Jake how was-." Said my lovely older sister Aurora before seeing me with tears in my eyes.

I looked into the living room and saw my sister's entire gang and her girlfriend were all staring at me. I looked into the kitchen and saw my mother on the floor, probably from getting blackout drunk, and then I looked back at my sister who put her hands on my face and looked at me with the scariest look she could.

"Who fucking hurt you?!" She half shouted in my face which made me jump.

"Who hurt my transgender bestie!?" Shouted Diane, one of my sister's friends in the gang.

"I-I-." I couldn't even speak without the words clogging my throat causing more tears to fall. Just then my older brother Joss came in from taking Oreo on a walk in our neighborhood.

"Hey we're ho- what happened?!" Said Joss while Emily unleashed Oreo.

I couldn't help but cry more and more whilst trying to speak. Oreo sat down in front me with a paw out which I did shake before she went to the kitchen.

"I-I made a mistake." I said with my voice going in all sorts of different pitches.

"What kind of mistake?" Asked Dexter, my sister's best friend, in the softest tone he could use.

I was finally able to speak without it being distorted. "Yesterday,... I went to Drew's house after school and they got me worked up and, then I said a bunch of things about the music club that I didn't mean and one of them recorded it and sent it to the music club and I got kicked out!" I said pretty fast but I could tell they understood what I said by their facial expressions.

"THEY WHAT!?" Shouted both of my siblings and my sister's gang which made me jump again and cry even more.

I couldn't take it and I didn't want to talk about it. I ran upstairs to my bedroom despite my siblings yelling after me. I slammed my door shut and put my headphones on and listened to music. It was like 10 minutes later until Joss came upstairs to see if I was okay.

"Jake, open the door, please." He said loud enough for me to hear through the door even though it sound more like a question than a statement.

I went over to my door and opened it just enough so that my eye was visible. "What?" I asked just wanting to cry my eyes out.

"Can we talk about what happened at school?" He asked me wanting to know everything.

I really didn't want to but, knowing my siblings I wouldn't be able to avoid it without them trying again and again. "Fine."

I opened my door and walked downstairs to the living room where the gang was talking about what happened. I could tell my sister was about to murder someone by the look in her eyes and the way she was holding her freshly lit cigarette.

"Jake can you please tell us every detail about what happened? Asked Dexter knowing I didn't want to talk about it.

Even though I didn't really want to talk about it, I knew it would help me out. I explained to them everything I had said, who was there, how I was confronted, everything in as much detail I could. They all looked at me with shocked, angry, and pitiful expressions.

"I screwed up badly." I said in a whimper. I felt so weak and vulnerable.

"You didn't screw up at all!" Said Diane in a harsh pitch that made me look up.

"Yea Diane's right you didn't do anything wrong." Said Dexter trying to reassure me.

"Yeah it's your friends who turned on you." Said Joss, who I could tell wanted to pound someone's face into the ground.

"I know but-" I was cut off by my sister punching a whole in the wall which made everyone and me jump.

"Sorry I just needed to blow off some steam." She said gritting her teeth.

"Baby, please calm down." Said Sophia, my sister's girlfriend, in the sweetest tone of voice anyone could ask for.

"I'm sorry." Said my sister a lot calmer now than before.

"How about we try to calm down and try to let this situation down a bit?" I asked trying to help myself and the others.

"Yea how about we have some fun of our own?!" Asked Joss.

"Yea! Why not?!" Said Dexter

"We could use it." Said Aurora.

"Karaoke anyone?" Asked Diane which actually got me excited.

"Sure!" I said a lot happier now than I was.

"Alright while you two do that me and Joss will make some baked treats." Said Emily a lot calmer now that we've slightly resolved the problem at hand.

Diane and I started singing to songs by Nico Collins  specifically because he was Diane's favorite singer. Meanwhile Emily and Joss made cupcakes and cookies in the kitchen after moving my mother to her bedroom. Aurora, Dexter, and Sophia were sitting down either on their phones or watching me and Diane sing the songs. Eventually we all had some cupcakes and cookies and topped them the way we wanted to and having fun doing it all. We all put on some pajamas and started watching movies and eating sweets and popcorn.

Even though my problem isn't resolved, it really did help and, I was feeling a lot better about everything that had happened. It was great having them around and not having to call a single person to come help.
