{Sadie's POV}
I finally got home from school. "FINALLY! I'm about to go insane!" I was supper pissed off because of Zoey being a bitch to me the whole day with her friends. As soon as I got through the door, I practically threw my backpack on the floor and slammed my book on the table. My brother and parents in the next room were both terrified by me getting angry enough to do those two things. I went up to my room and went on my phone to play the rock music that I listen to when I'm pissed off, but no one in my family came up to check on me.

I was slightly crying, not out of sadness but anger. I just wanted to hurt someone. I didn't care who, just someone, he'll anyone would work. I heard my family talking downstairs but I just had my head in my hands not wanting to listen to them. I then heard my door open.

"SADIE!" I couldn't recognize the voice because of the music playing loud as fuck which is also why they're yelling too.

I was already angry enough. "WHAT?!" When I looked at the door that when I realized who had said my name.

It was my boyfriend, Jake, he looked like he was smiling until he realized I had tears in my eyes. He walked over to my speaker and turned the volume down, but he didn't turn it off so I could hear a little bit of the song. After, he closed my door and was lightly walking over to me. "Hey love, what's wrong?"

At first I was going to tell him everything, but then I realized why he was actually here. "We were supposed to go out on a date tonight." That's when I figured that I could get away with lying so that he can be happy with me, but I felt awful lying to him. "Nothing, I'm fine."

"No, you're not." He wiped away some of my tears. "Tell me, what's going on?"

I felt more tears coming from my eyes. "It's just Zoey giving me a hard time about being a freak." I sounded like I was snapping at him, but I wasn't really doing it.

"Hey, it's okay," He held one of my hands. "You're not a freak at all no matter what Zoey says about you."

I never really cared about what she said, I was just upset about her bothering me. "I know, I was just annoyed by her constantly telling me it not by what she herself was saying."

"I know that we were supposed to go out tonight, but do you want to have a stay at home date instead?" He said petting my hair while my head was on his shoulder.

"Yeah..." I picked up my phone to pause the really faded music. "It's better than me being angry."

He took out his phone. "Wanna watch the newest Helluva Boss episode?"

"Wait, the new episode came out?" I was surprised.

He gave me a light smile. "It came out 3 hours ago, but yeah."

He showed my the YouTube video. "Aww dammit, but yes could we please?"

He smiled. "Of course hun."

We continued to watch the episode on his phone and cuddling under my dark purple blanket. He held his phone in his left hand and petted my hair with his right. I had my arms around him, but they overlap a bit because Jake is very skinny. "I... I feel a lot better now."

{Jake's POV}
I was watching the newest Helluva Boss episode with my girlfriend of 4 months, Sadie. I knew she was getting calmer because the grip she had on my hand was loosening and she was getting relieved with me around. When the episode was almost over, I lightly kissed her on the which caused her to whip her head up to look at me.

"What?" I said looking at her eyes. "I love her eyes."

"You just... kissed me on the head." She wasn't upset, but she did seem confused about what I did.

I gave her a light smile. "Should I not have kissed you on the head?"

She gave me a light smirk. "No, you shouldn't have."

Now I was confused. "Huh?" I stopped smiling out of confusion.

"You really don't know what I'm talking about, Jake Sterling?" She seemed a bit surprised, but she still had a slight smirk.

I was so confused. "No, I really don't." I lightly shifted onto a more comfortable position.

Her smirk widened a little bit, but I still didn't understand. Well,... I didn't understand until she kissed me on the lips. I kissed back but it caught me off guard but then I remembered it. "Sadie also knows how to flirt!"

She stopped kissing me after around 10 seconds of doing it. "You get it now, Jake?"

"Y- yes yes, I do." I stumbled out of embarrassment, but it was the good kind.

She backed away before selecting another video on my phone about scary stories and myths. She then set her head on my shoulder like she was before the kiss. I began to pet her hair again and she cuddled into me more.

We continued watching the videos until she moved her head up to it's normal position. "Hey, Angel?"

"I- Angel?" I was shocked by the new label, but I didn't mind it. "Y- yeah?"

"I was talking to my cat." She said in a bit of a laugh while her black cat came from behind her.

I was now red from embarrassment. "I- oh... I thought that you were... never mind."

"Would you like me to call you angel?" She was slightly smiling. "Not as a name, but as a pet name or label."

I  thought about it. "If you want to, I kinda like it." I said scratching the back of my neck.

"Okay, angel." Sadie said cuddling into me with her cat, the real Angel in her arms.

After around 39 minutes we were called for dinner that Sadie's mom made for everyone. After, we went back up to Sadie's room to watch horror movies with each other without bothering her family members. We were cuddling with a couple snacks including popcorn and candy of all kinds. We were on the verge of falling asleep at the same time, but I wanted to tell her something before I did.

"I love you, Sadie." I fell asleep, but just before I fully fell asleep I heard her say something in return.

"I love you too, Jake."
