"You think we'll ever get used to being called by our true names after such a long time?" Sandy asks, sitting at a table surrounded by other brawlers. Otis quickly grabs a piece of paper from a tall stack he has, with intentions to reply to Sandy. He can't seem to speak, and has yet to learn sign language so he writes his responses on paper for the time being. He quickly writes words.
"It's a long process, like acclimating a fish to a new tank." is what he wrote. According to his files, he used to have a good amount of knowledge on marine life, as well as his artistic side. "I may not know what acclimating is, but I can surely agree with you!" Buzz replies, shooting a finger gun at Otis. He shrugs, and decides to doodle on the blank spaces on the corner of the paper.
Sandy continues to sit there, drinking the milk he was given. They're current staying over someplace until they can go back to their normal lives. The brawlers are spread out across a good amount of tables, each engulfed in their own conversation. "I honestly can't wait to have everything back to normal, we never realized until recently on how much danger we were in."
"It's a good thing they plan to take down Starr Park! They're definitely never going to do that stuff again." Buzz adds. Otis nods, writing down some more words "What do you think you'll be doing after?" "I doubt anyone knows, a good amount of us forget lots of things." Sandy says, pointing to both Tara and Gene, who are sitting next to him. "They forgot how to speak..."
Both Tara and Gene nod "Wow, they're not even trying to deny it." Buzz widens his eyes in shock. In their conversation, Colette joins the table "Heya!" Buzz greets her "How're 'ya right now? Y'know, I heard you gave the guy quite a severe-" Tara and Sandy cover up Buzz' mouth. "You don't need to address it..." Sandy smiles nervously as a drop of sweat goes down his face.
"Just feeling very disappointed..." Colette pouts. "Why so?" Buzz asks "According to my report, I used to work in Starr Park." "You did?!" Sandy exclaims. "Yeah... All of us had a backstory. I'm just disappointed on how they gas lighted all of us." She sighs in response. "Don't worry, I think most of us are quite disappointed too." Sandy tries to cheer her up. Everyone else present nods.
Their current table is left in silence, the only sound they hear is the sound of the other brawler's conversations. Sooner or later, the large group is called "Hey, uhhm... You guys need to get over here!" Shelly calls. "Especially Bella... Apparently..." No one owns up, "Oh yeah... That's apparently Belle." "I guess getting used to these names is going to take awhile." Belle shrugs.
"I do remember her files mentioning a criminal record, you've used the Park to hideout from the police one time." "Oh shoot?! Am I going to get taken in? They're putting me in jail, aren't they?!" She sounds shocked. "Either way, wherever we'll be in life, it'll be better than being in captivity and forced to run battle simulations." Colette says. Everyone nods in agreement.
The large group sends their farewells to each other as they are about to go back to their normal lives before Starr Park. After all, they have truly escaped its grasp.
