Chapter 6: Retropolis Recoil

Team Recap! We have Colt, Spike, Edgar, Colette,Jessie, Pam, The Mystic, Old Town and Super Hero Trios!

"Is this safe, Colette?" Colt asks, trembling in fear. "I heard the brawlers here are really scary." Jessie adds. "I'm sure we'll be fine!" Colette responds "I know almost everything about every brawler like the back of my palm!" Everyone stares at her after she said that. "Calm, down, guys." Edgar reassures everyone, "She's kind of crazy, but she just has admiration for all of you."

"Well, why wouldn't anyone?" Colt's ego starts to show up "Not as big as an ego as Lola!" Colette yells. She is quite far from the rest of them. Colt feels hurt by those words. Tara starts murmuring "She's saying we need to get back on track!" Sandy translate for everyone. Everyone starts looking around for the brawlers needed. No one is seen. "Where is everyone? yaaawn..." Sandy asks the bunch.

Every tries to catch up with Colette, who is approaching a diner. "Why are you going in there?" Byron asks. "Trust me, I know what I'm doing." Colette responds. They all enter the diner. "こんにちは..." a worker at the diner greets them. "What does that mean?" Piper asks "It's a Japanese greeting, anyway, may I show you to your seats? You're a big bunch." "Yeah, sure, Bibi." Colette answers. "We can discuss what we should do next, I'm sure the gun in the tape looked like Bull's."

They all sit on a massive table to discuss what to do next. "So you're saying the gun in the video looks like it belonged to Bull?" Max starts the discussion. "I don't think the gun is the video is Bull's one he has now but it may be a replica." Pam continues. "From what I saw, it matches his the most." Colette confirms her theory. "I saw it shot a cactus too, the holes it formed did look like Spike's face for some reason." Colt added. Spike continues not talking.

"Well, what would you like to order?" Bibi approaches the table. After everyone's order is placed, they start planning their next move. "We need to see if Bull has also obtained a tape." Edgar exclaims. "What if we send in Spike?" Jessie starts "He can't make any noise anyway... Yaaaawn..." Sandy adds "But even if could sneak in to where Bull was, he wouldn't be able to communicate with him." Colt said.

"Well, let me and Piper join in!" Colette speaks up. "Hey, I never agreed to this!" Piper exclaims "Just stand by the counter and distract the people." Piper sighs and gets out of her seat to head to the counter. She starts stalling, while Colette and Spike try to sneak into the diner's kitchen. "Bull! I found two tapes at the latest stock for the diner! What should we do with it?" a worker asks.

"That's it! That' what we're looking for!" Colette exclaims quietly. She looks around the kitchen "That's the gun I was talking about!" she continues to talk with minimal volume, not like Spike will be responding. They wait out under a desk for the right time to strike. "I'll just place it right here." the same worker puts down the tapes next to the stove. "That's Crow!" Colette starts explaining to Spike.

"He doesn't work here, he's usually a bike gang leader, in fact. But he is good friends with it's owner that he stops by to help out sometimes." Colette said. She bring her eye's attention to the two tapes. "I should get them, but they will surely notice me." She waits off a bit longer until everyone leaves the room. "Got them! Let's head back, Spike." Colette starts to return to her standard volume, oblivious to the aftermath.

They both leave the kitchen room to find the 3 Retropolis brawlers by the table. "Enjoy the meal." Bibi says. The three then turn to see both by the door. "Hey!" Crow speaks up "That's off-limit to customers!" Colette starts to sweat, "Oh, Did I time it wrong?" Bull stands silently in the middle, fist start to clench, and starts appearing menacing.

"You really messed up, Colette." Edgar yells out. "You can't just go in the staff-only room!" Bull starts to speak up. He usually is pretty violent and short-tempered but passionate about the diner "No!" Colt tries to stop him. Colette flinches and shows the two tapes to him. "Ah, those pieces of junk." Crow speaks up. "Yeah, we don't need them."

"Crow..." Sandy grabs his attention. "Legendary truce... Yaaaaaaaaawn..." "Yes..." Meg adds. "Legendary truce?" "Fine, legendary truce." Crow responds. "We theorize that those tapes contain important information about our true origins. Think about it, do you know where you come from? Yaawn..." Crow's face becomes one of realization. "You're right..." he replies. Bibi and Bull also think about what Sandy just said.

"Now please listen to us." Colt starts "I guess we can make an exception, we don't need those tapes anymore." Bibi replies. "Awesome!" Surge sounds, he takes the two tapes. "There's one with the same title as the other two!" Meg exclaims. "Yeah, they do!" Edgar replies. "Luckily, we kept them inside Pam's backpack." Byron adds. "Yep, mechanics need a lot of space to work with as well as lots of tools!" Jessie responds.

Jessie takes the tapes from her bag and compares them. "Yes! They are the same in title!" Max said. "Let's listen and figure out the next area we should go to." Colt announces to every other brawler. Max inserts the tape in Surge. The video seems to be the start of the whole video they are to piece together, not much information from that.

They then play the second tape, no video is found, just an audio file plays. "Where you can see the fright of them all, the bats fly very tall, this place is not for all." the tape ends. "I believe this one is obvious." Colette exclaims to the bunch. Everyone nods in agreement. "Wait! We'll come with you!" Bibi speaks up. The other two retropolis brawlers nod. "Well, if that's the case... Welcome aboard!" Colt responds to their request.

"Colette, lead the way!" Crow said. Colette gives the gang a positive gesture while running off to the destination of their next clue.
