Chapter 25: Something has Awoken

"Where exactly IS this place?" As one's eyes open. It feels like one has just awoken from a long slumber. Which is, in fact, was has happened.

"Holy shoot!" She jumps from the bed, looking around she sees the small room, a turned off light bulb. Not much is in the room, an empty counter and shelf. She runs out the door. It's early in the morning, you can barely seen the rays of sunlight by a nearby window. Looking back at the door, it has a label 'Shelly' "What in the?" She quickly looks at her palm, then looks down.

She seems to be wearing what looks like a hospital robe, it may not even be the case.  She turns to the long corridor, a door on both sides, each with a label that contains a brawler's name. The ones labeled 'Leon' and 'Nita' swing open! "This is what I was talking about!" Leon screams out. Shelly immediately tries to shush him "We don't know if anyone is watching!" She exclaims.

"Well, I remember seeing a security guy when Nita and I woke up that one time..." Leon responds "Then we'll have to be careful, and maybe even fight back." She replies "Fight back? How can we even do that?" Nita asks "I can clearly remember all the times we had fighting each other, we can definitely use that knowledge against whoever is in charge." Shelly proposes an idea.

"It really depends on what will happen, but let's wake up the others." Leon exclaims, the 2 other girls nod, as they start entering doors. Shelly starts off with a door labeled 'Colt' "Colt?" She calls as she enters, seeing him laying on the bed, grasping on it's sheets tightly. "So it was true...?" He breathes heavily "Colt! We need to go! It'll be fine." "Shelly? Is that you?" He turns to her.

"Yes! It's me!" "You... look different..." "I do?" Shelly touches her head, feeling the texture of her hair. "It's... It's curly?" Colt relaxes a bit, losing grip on the bed, if you say we should get out of here, we shouldn't get caught up in what happening, we focus on escaping." Colt says, "You're right, Leon and Nita are collecting the other brawlers." Shelly responds as she helps Colt up.

They exit the door and proceed to enter the rest of the rooms, they start with one labeled 'Brock' "Brock! Brock!" Colt calls out "Eh? Colt? Thank god! I've been dying of boredom!" "No time for talk! We'll need to get out of here as quick as possible!" Shelly tells him as Brock sighs, "I guess we can converse later." Brock gets up and helps out the group with waking up the others.

The door labeled 'Rico' quickly swings open upon all of the chaos "WHY IS THERE A GUMBALL MACHINE IN MY ROOM?" he asks, holding an entire gumball machine above his head. The door with the 'Darryl' label also opens "Speak for yourself! I apparently slept in a barrel!" "Well, there was a weird animatronic in mine!" Someone else says. "My god, everything is going crazy!"

"Guys! Otis has his tongue cut off!" Two people come out of a door labeled 'Otis' "He does?!" Another person yells out, as they faint. By the second, more people leave their door, and gets louder by the time. "58 people in total..." Meg counts the people. "EVERYONE! QUIET DOWN!" Max yells out to try and get the attention of everybody. The crowd turns to her with silence.

"Now since we're out of the game, we very well lost all of our powers." As she says that, everyone tries to use some of their abilities. "Eh? I can't seem hurt anyone with this guitar that was in my room..." Poco exclaims. A good amount of the people came out already with weapons they claim was inside their room. "If we still remember what we've done in this said game..."

"We should be able to have the knowledge to fight back everyone is getting in our way!" Max tries to lead the large group. "Anyway, what should we do next? This watch of mine says it's 4:17 AM..." "Well, There was a library full of files that has information about us as people." Leon exclaims. "Well, let's start there!" Surge exclaims, pointing out of the hallway they were in.

The large group starts walking, some of them even looking around, in worries that someone was watching them. "Do you think you two will be able to learn to speak English now?" Sandy asks both Tara and Gene, in a sluggish voice. The two shrug, as it seems they haven't fully grasped the concept. The group is soon facing the library Leon has mentioned. "This is it." Leon says.

Leon and Nita run over to where they remember they've left their file. "We never actually looked at what our real names are..." Nita exclaims to Leon "We... We had our names change!?" Collete asks in shock "Most likely to have our true identities hidden from the game version of ourselves." Edgar exclaims. "Speaking of which, I barely remember anything before the game." Mortis says.

"Let's look for our own files, everyone!" Meg exclaims, walking in simultaneously. The rest follow, as they start scavenging the library. "What's this?! I used to work here??" Shelly mustered out, "Shoot, I did too!" Colt joins in, both of them looking at each others files. "Shelby... That's just off by 1 letter with your Game-name!" Colt points out "So your full name is 'Shelby Kartz'?"

"That seems to be the case..." Shelly, or... Shelby says. "Well, yours says you're called 'Colin Valdez'..." "Heh... Odd... Do you think the other guys have changed names as well?" Colt asked Shelly. "It'd make more sense if that was the case." She exclaimed "Let's check up on the others." She suggests, the two of them keeping the files with them on their way.

As the time passes, everyone finishes off reading their files, "If we take these files, we can send this info to the police and the government can take down this park!" Max suggest "My file says my real name is 'Maxie Saunders'..." "Ours says our names are Leonardo and Nicky." Leon yells out. "My watch says it's almost 5AM which means the park may open sooner or later."

"Anyways, let's get out of here!" She says, as she walks out of the library, but as she steps out of the library, an alarm goes off. "Gah! What's that?!" "Shoot! Do they detect if the files are taken out of this place?!" Edgar (Real name: Eduardo Ferguson) exclaims "I think they do!" Collete (Real name: Colleen Swanson) Responds in panic. "Everyone, hide!" Max yells out.
