(F/F)= Favorite FoodThe clock ticked restlessly in the silent room. Seconds flicking away as you stared ahead at the desk lost in your own thoughts.
Here again. Stuck, thinking alone. This felt like an endless chase. There were no leads. No one could show you the way. Your coworkers were useless. It's just you and you alone.
You lowered your head.
CREAK.
Quickly you looked around, the nose was startling. Especially being alone in your apartment.
What was that sound?
Your heart slammed against your ribs anxiously.
Probably just a mouse.
You sucked in a breath looking away. Your thoughts trying to relax
CREAK.
There it was again. You looked the other way behind you. Cautious now as you bit your lip. You can't be so jumpy.
Is that someone in the dark?
You turned to look fully behind you seeing a silhouette of a man.
Maybe it was just an electrical spark.
You stood up cautiously. Your thoughts weren't making things better. You know someone was there. Even if you were trying so hard to convince yourself no one was there you just couldn't believe the security behind those thoughts.
You slowly leaned down, reaching for your gun. Pulling at the holster keeping calm breaths. There was someone there. Their eyes glowed in the dark, like a robot staring at you with sunken in eyeballs and only white pupils.
You held your gun up aimed straight ahead at the person in your room. You couldn't say a word. Only watching as the body staggered forward. The smell of rotting flesh reached your nose. (You gagged a bit.)
There in the light Michael Afton stared at you. His skin was purple, as if it had been bruised thrown about and stretched. Hallowed out, as if he was nothing but bones. (With holes in his mouth revealing sharp metal teeth beneath the skin.)
He reeked of death. His hand outstretched it's self towards you.
"S t a y a w a y."
His voice sounded mechanical. As if he was your phone talking back to you. (Well that was if your phone was broken and glitching.)
You couldn't pull the trigger too afraid at the sight before you. He looked like he was mangled. Like a walking zombie with the way he limped. Leg twisted looking broken with mechanical whirling getting louder.
He fell to the floor with a thud, your gun following, as his body seemed to be having a seizure. Metal stuck out from his skin, busting through easily revealing what looked like an endoskeleton trying to contort back inside the body.
You couldn't hold it in anymore. The fear got the better of you. You screamed.

"(Y/N)!"You gasped jolting up.
Where are you?
Your surroundings were blurry, but the voice was familiar. Slowly things came into focus and you realized you were in the only diner in town.
You sighed in relief upon the realization. It was just a dream.
