Maybe giving Freddy your number and address was a bad idea. Once he had gotten ahold of it he hadn't stopped texting you between his shows. He was mostly checking up on you, making sure you were okay especially after what he had seen at work.

It was sweet actually, but you don't know him well enough yet to know how to really process his sudden kindness. The idea of giving him your address and meeting you here late in the night was a horrible idea the more you thought about it! But then again how else were you going to investigate this case, not to mention maintain your informant? Your mind was a mess, tossing back and forth the pros and cons of your decision. Were you making the right call?

Buzz.

You sat up from where you had your face buried in your pillow in your thought. Reaching for your phone, now looking at your notifications. You should of guessed what the buzzing was from. He messaged again.

Just finished the last show, can't wait to see you tonight ;)

You pressed your lips thinly together as your eyes skimmed over the text. Your face flushed at the implication of his winking emoji. But why? You rationalized it to be because no one has really given you attention like that. (Obviously that had to be it.)

You guessed now you should respond. You've said something even if it was brief each message, it didn't make sense to not respond now.

Okay, sounds good

You paused in your typing scrunching your face up in thought. What more do you say than that? Nothing you guessed. But then your fingers began to move on their own finishing the sentence.

I'll see you around midnight

Your fingers hit send. Laying back down on your back now you stared at your ceiling. Phone pressed against your chest observing the chipped paint that hung above you. What was wrong with your brain? You leaned over to place your phone on your nightstand to lay unbothered. Maybe you should close your eyes a bit. You had a lot on your mind right now. With that in mind you lulled yourself into a deep sleep. A dream creeping up on you.

You're alone again. Though this time the home you were in wasn't your own. You held your flash light tightly in your hand. Smeared blood stained the wooden floorboards. The streaks showing that who ever the blood belonged to had been dragged.

A cry of agony screamed through the quite air startling you enough to make your hand shake. You jumped attempting to steady it as you crept forward clicking the light off to pull out your gun.

The murderer was still here. You followed him all the way back here. To the home people considered to be cursed by the aftons.

You held your breath gripping your gun so tightly your knuckles paled from the intensity. You had to count to three before bursting into the room.

One.

Another cry filled the air. Louder this time.

Two.

Laughter followed after it. Sickly amused by the victims torment.

Three!

You rushed into the room gun aimed at the murderer shouting that all too familiar phrase, freeze. But instead of a person your eyes met glowing blue eyes.
