The Bitty baby's limp robotic body scratched against the ground as Freddy heaved it into the car he had brought over. Wiping his hands on his pants Freddy stretched. He was covered in blood. It's red stained the white of his shirt and the soft pink in his tie.
So much for dressing nicely.
Freddy scoffed playfully looking down at his tie. It didn't matter as long as you'd be happy. That man won't bother you anymore.
"You watching the game tonight Dave?" Voices called out into the darkness and Freddy dipped low close to the car peering out from the corner. Two officers were walking out towards their cars talking to one another.
They left as quickly as they came and Freddy realized that it may have been too dangerous to be this close to the scene of the crime. Slowly he snuck into his car driving away just out of sight.
The town was both spaced out in its buildings and tightly knit together. But it was a small town, some of the older buildings had to be preserved. Freddy didn't care much about this town. People were all the same, small town or a big on.
It was quite on the streets. Barely anyone passed him by, and then the apartment complex that you lived in met his eye. His car slowed at the sight seeing a few lights still on within. People still awake. Are you still awake?
Freddy parked his car in the darkest part of the lot, slinking out drawn towards the fire escape. (An old one, made of flimsy iron that rattled when he reached for the latter to climb.)
The way to your apartment was almost memorized. His body clung to the shadows, and had to quickly press against the wall as he saw people approaching some of their windows. They didn't matter he just didn't want to be caught up here.
Slowly Freddy climbed more until reaching your window. He crouched down towards its level on the iron platform taking a peek inside.
Your back was to him, he could barely make it out between the blinds. You sighed taking your shirt off, revealing your bare back and bra clasp to him. Freddy held his breath at the sight, look at you so unsuspecting of him here.
You tossed the shirt aside, stretching a little, before turning around to face him. Your chest presented itself to him, every curve of your body from the waist up was now ingrained in his memory.
Look at you. A beautiful Angel. He could see faint outlines of scars, or maybe they were stretch marks? They were something, a blemish that worried him. Did someone hurt you?
You suddenly tensed, almost as if you felt his gaze. Looking up towards the blinds. Your eyes met, but there was a look of uncertainty in yours. You didn't recognize him there. That or you didn't quite see the glimmer of his blue eyes caught in the light. You walked over to the window, braced with something in your hand. You looked uneasy.
Freddy ducked out of the way, moving swiftly from the window hearing the blinds move up. You pushed the window open sticking your head out. Freddy his further in the shadows holding his breath.
You glanced his direction, but your eyes didn't seem to catch him. It must be because of how tired you were. He could tell you were still having a hard time sleeping. Your hand shook as you pulled the window shut latching it quickly into place. Freddy relaxed letting go of a breath he didn't know he had been holding.
A glimpse wasn't enough. He wanted so desperately to hear you say his name. Smile at him. Touch him. Whisper towards him, secrets you wanted only him to hear.
