POV Sophie
As soon as we were out of the room I buckled and fell to the floor sobbing. I just couldn't stand up. No matter how I tried my legs would not hold my weight.
" Keefe I can't stand!"
" It's gonna be okay, Foster. I'll get you to Elwin." Keefe picks me up in his arms and walks to the Leapmaster 2000, " SPLENDOR PLAINS!!!" He calls.
As the crystals shift I ask " Where is Splendor Plains?"
" It's Elwin's house it's not well known."
" Then how do you know it?"
" I-uh-kinda broke both my legs jumping from Alina's window."
" Why did you jump from her window?"
" I may have rigged her bed so if she put any weight on it it would explode, she caught me in the act and I had to jump for her window to avoid getting killed."
" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!" Keefe that's so funny!!!" I laughed as I Keefe stepped into the light still holding me in his arm.
We glittered into existence in front of a very sleek, very modern house. It was all sharp edges and glass walls each a different color. As Keefe carried me up the front steps I noticed they were very flat and formed of dull stone. Keefe rang the door bell and Elwin opened the front door, which was a sliding sheet of glass. " Sophie, Keefe what have you done this time." The physician sighed.
" Actually it was Fitz." Keefe deadpans.
" Well lets see it then, right this way." Elwin led us through the main room which was quite plain. The only pieces of furniture were a white table and desk, they lay squarely in the middle. He took them up the stairs and my eyes were blinded by the sudden amount of glitter. " Yeah here is the glittery part of my house." Elwin sas with a laugh.
He leads us down a hall covered in sparkles and into a room that surprisingly was not doused in sparkles. The physician had Keefe set me on a glass table. " What did my favorite patient do this time."
" I honestly don't know Elwin, Fitz was yelling at us to get out and I knew I had lost one of my best friends and my cognate. When we left the room I buckled and started sobbing, when I tried to stand up again I couldn't." I explain.
" This might be my strangest case yet." Elwin mutters as he flashes orbs of light around my legs. " Your legs are paralyzed, apparently from the shock that comes with losing a very dear friend. I need to mix at least 5 elixirs to fix this. Keefe do you remember the room you stayed in when you were here, don't you?"
" Yes Elly I remember where it was." Keefe says this with a smirk.
" Good take her there and don't call me Elly, you no I don't like it."
" Okay Elly." Keefe says as he picks me up and carries me back into the sparkle mania, he walked down the hall until he came to the 7 door on the left he opened it and snapped his fingers twice before he set me on the bed in the middle of the galaxy or at least that's what it looks like it has walls of specially cut crystal so if you snapped your fingers twice they dimmed until every facet had a star in it, the affect was gorgeous. Keefe went around to the other side of the bed and slid in next to me, helping me cuddle into his chest where I quickly fell asleep.
" Foster, wake up your elixirs are here." Keefe whispers in my ear.
I simply snuggle deeper into his chest. In response Keefe starts to tickle me until I open my eyes, only then does he stop and hands me my fist elixir, I chug it as fast as I can. The same goes for the other four until I'm done.
" Stay off your feet until tomorrow okay?" Elwin says from the doorway.
" I'll make sure she does Elly." Keefe says as we roll into the light of my home crystal.
" Don't call me Elly." I hear as we glitter away."
We glitter back into being lying in the grass under the Panakes tree. Keefe picks me up again and heads towards the house. When we come inside Edaline smiles and Grady glares
" Do you two want some mallowmelt" Edaline asks us
" Always Mrs. Ruewen." Keefe responds his eyes lighting up at the idea of mallowmelt.
" I'll get it right now, and Keefe please call me Edaline."
At this Grady's eyes flash. " Put my daughter down Boy."
" I can't until I get her to the couch." Keefe says, a quiver in his voice.
" First off it's put her on the couch sir, and second why can't she walk? What did you do?!"
" Dad calm down Keefe didn't do anything to me it was Fitz." I say gauging his reaction.
" WHAT DID HE DO TO YOU?!! WAS THAT BOY IN ON IT?!!! WHO AM I KIDDING OFC-"
By now Edaline had brought the mallowmelt and I shoved a piece of the gooey cake into his mouth, cutting off his rant. I explain what happened and Grady only seems to get madder as I went on so I finished with a "-don't kill him."
" Fine I won't kill him, yet." Grady eventually says.
" Keefe would you like me to conjure some pillows and blankets into Sophie's room for you to spend the night?" Edaline asks.
" Yes please." Keefe says. So Edaline does and we go up to my room completely ignoring the pillows, we crawl into my bed and cuddle against each other. " Tomorrow we have Foxfire." My boyfriend whispers in my ear right before I drift off to sleep.
