Bonus chapter III: Grave of Flame

Before the field trip day come, Rimuru is walking down the central city to buy something. Rimuru came across with the magazine store, Rimuru took a moment to read. He found it as same thing similar in Earth until it mentioned the name Grave of Flame.

"Grave of Flame... Shizue..." – Rimuru

Rimuru remembered his fellow Japanese friend who had been through a lot of pain. The first time Rimuru meet her in the forest and also Rimuru last saw her before become devoured by himself. The last time Rimuru saw Shizue again when sealing Chronoa who is out of control.

Ciel read Rimuru's memory right now and deep thought about it. After that, Ciel asked

<Would you like to teleport to the church, Rimuru-sama? YES/NO> - Ciel

Rimuru simply said YES.

After a moment, Rimuru open his eyes and saw the church with the graveyard in the different land. Rimuru walk in the church to see graveyard. When enter graveyard, Rimuru discovered several tombstones with name.

Rimuru recognized some tombstones are belong to people in different world but some belong to his world. As Rimuru continues to walk past many tombs until he reaches the tombstones which he looks for.

Shizue Izawa – The Conqueror of Flames

Rimuru place a sunflower in front of the tombstones and pray her for peace. Suddenly, someone come

"Rimuru-sama..." – Charys

"Charys..." – Rimuru

Charys who former known as Ifrit, the greater spirit of flame. He has been inside his former host Shizue because of two of them having a different goal. Charys still regret of his failed connection.

"Why are you here for, Rimuru-sama?" – Charys

"I also want to ask the same thing too. But I heard about Grave of Flame, so I came to see it." – Rimuru

"I come here for her. I still having regret of my failed connection. My former self was egoless person, just want to go Leon side again not thinking about my former host option. After I spend some time with Veldora, I realize how wrong I was in the past, I think about it a long time, I should have heard for once last time." – Charys

"You don't need to think hard about it. it was her request for peace that I give her." – Rimuru

Rimuru spend a little more of time with Tombstones.

Unknown to them, somehow, some way, Shizue appeared behind Rimuru and hug him behind.

A Moment Rimuru looks around, Shizue disappeared .

Rimuru looks around and see nothing.

"I thought I heard Shizue's voice... Ciel..." - Rimuru

<It's possible your imagination, Master> – Ciel

"Possible?" – Rimuru

<...> - Ciel

Rimuru see Ciel rarely silent and stopped asking. When sun down, Rimuru think it's about time to go home and said goodbye to Charys, hope to see each other again. Charys waved his hand as Rimuru disappeared. He looks different side and spoke

"How long did you stand there, Hinata Sakaguchi?" – Charys

Hinata looks at Charys a moment and switch to Shizue's tombstones.

"I have no longer hold grudge anymore, Charys. Even you or your former master are responsible to Shizue's pain experience. I also have my own regret for left my master behind."

Hinata sit in front of tombstones, place some flower of her own and hold her hand for pray. Charys let Hinata alone and walk away.

"Master, please rest..." – Hinata

After Hinata done, she walks away.

Shizue's spirit looks at Hinata walking away and smile.

Author notes: This is one of my ideal chapters in my mind. I still don't why.
