Chapter 2

-Santana pov-
"What the hell do we do now?!" Quinn glares at me while pointing to the sleeping Rachel "Oh it is morning time and she needs to wake up!"

"Hard to sleep with your yelling" Rachel sits up and rubs her eyes. My heart melts at her child like nature "I thirsty"

"Have anything" Quinn snaps and I shake my head "I mean we can get you something! Quinn go get her something!"

"Water is fine" Quinn is quick to grab a hotel cup, fill it up, and give it to Rachel "Thank you"

"So you are a baby mentally?" Rachel looks down and shakes her head "You have something wrong?"

"My letters mixup and I have trouble reading sometimes" Rcahel looks up with tear filled eyes "I get made fun of more?"

"Never" Quinn walks over and hugs her once the cup is moved away "Never, ever again ok? You will never be hurt if we can help it"

"The onesie and diapers?" Rachel blushes and looks away "Can you explain them Rach?"

"They help me feel free" She frowns and Quinn rubs her back "My dads left when I was little so I had no help with stuff"

"I am so sorry Rachel" Quinn pulls away from Rachel "My baby took your mom away too"

"You are so strong Rach" I go over and pull them both into me "We will work on making things better ok?"

"First we will have you explain everything to us" We all turn to see Judy, My mom, and my dad in the hotel doorway "You paid with my card Sweetheart and the school called for you"

"Same here Santana" I cringe as the parents come in then shut the door "Why is that girl in a baby onesie and what seems to be a loaded diaper?"

Before I stop myself I am in my dads face "Hey take your judgment out of here!" He raises a eyebrow to challenge but I do not step down "She is able to do what she wants! She is under my girlfriend and my protection!"

"Girlfriend huh?" Silence takes over me "We have no problem with you being a lesbian but that! That is not ok and we will not let it fly!"

"Then I guess I am leaving home" My dad scoffs and leaves "Mami? You going to agree or say something to me?"

"I will try to calm him down ok?" I nod and she grabs the door handle "I will have your stuff on the porch waiting"

"Thank you" She leaves with a nod and I look at Judy "You leaving too?"

"I left Quinn once and I refuse to do it again" I give a nod and watch as Judy walks over to Rachel "But since neither of you have changed a diaper or taken care of a baby then let me show you"

Rachel has slipped cause she just babbles as Judy lays her down. We watch in awe at how quick she changes Rachel. We share a shocked look as the onesie is fastened again. She looks at us with a smug smirk on her face while Rachel giggles.

"We have so much to learn" I nod and Quinn pulls out her phone "I need to write everything down!"

-Time skip-
"Your dad will leave us both if you come back" I nod and my mom cups my face "I will leave him but for right now I need you to listen ok? I will work this all out but until then you have to get Rachel back to her parents ok? Whoever it is she needs"

"Her dads left her and" It clicks in my head quickly "I know who"

"Go baby" She hugs me tightly "I will see you soon with money, the car, and a new life"

"Be careful mom" I give her a cheek kiss and grab my things "I love you"

I go to my car and pack in my things. I have a place in mind I have to go to. I pull out the card and find the address on it. I pull out of the drive and head to the address I found.

I find the small house and get out. I walk up thinking about what I will say. I take a deep breath before knocking. When no one answers I walk to the side gate.

I need her to answer me and come with me. I pick the lock and get to the backyard. I hear babbles and calming music. I stop with wide eyes as I am met with the moon during the day.

"You know when someone has a privacy fence and locked gate it means go away" She stands and keeps her back to me "What do you need? Cause I can call the cops"

"This is about Rachel" The music is turned off and she is quickly covering herself "Sorry! I-I just needed to talk to you!"

"So you, a student, break in and catch me like this!" I cringe while Beth loses it laughing "What is so important?!"

"Rachel's dads left her and she regresses to an infant to cope with a loss of childhood" Shelby is immediately walking toward the backdoor with Beth "Shelby?"

"Get in your car and take me to her" I quickly follow her "I am getting my baby back"

-Small time skip-Rachel pov-
I am enjoying the rocking in Judys arms. She has Elmo playing and it is so good. I hate the rock character though. He keeps Elmo from the other cookie.

"Rachel?" I look up and see tear filled eyes "I am so sorry!"

I am moved into her arms and at first I am scared. But then I just feel safe. I feel the same safety I had with Judy. A safety I have longed for so many years to have.

The safety of being held by a loving mother. I yawn from the food knowing this will be a conversation for big Rachel. Right now though I need a nap. Milk makes me very sleepy.

Maybe I can have a dream with Elmo..
