"Everything has been so good lately" I smile and look at everyone around us "We have had a rocky year but I know next year will be better! I just know it! Cause this up coming year is Nationals in New York! Some of us will be back there and so we must make our name known!"

"Agreed" Kurt stands up with a smile "We will show New York just who we are! Some of us will show important people who we are! Our singers and dancers could become something!"

"We can all become something" Noah raises his glass "To the new year! To our family we have here today!"

"I want to thank you all for coming" mom stays standing up with a smile "I am appreciative of how much we have become a massive family! You all have come together and made this old lady feel so young again! All of you parents have allowed us all to feel like we are united raising these kids now and insuring they are alright...I planned a song about just that if I may?"

Everyone nods and mom sits her glass down before she sings.

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!"

We all cheer and share hugs with each other. Loved ones share kisses and it is awesome. It is awesome until it comes crashing down. My glass slides as I see something that breaks my heart into pieces.

Tucked away Quinn is kissing Sam in a corner. I hear mumbles as Quinn turns toward me. Her eyes wide as she starts taking steps toward me. I snap out of my thoughts and quickly apologize for the glass slipping.

I ignore Quinn the rest of the night as we celebrate. I put on the show of my life as I pretend to be fine. I sleep away from her when we go to bed much to Santanas confusion. I do not want to inform her of what happened.

I just want to get away from Quinn as much as possible cause my heart is absolutely shattered right now.
