-Rachel pov-
I am walking around the school trying to get my footing today. I have been very tired and worn out. I went to be early yesterday but today has just drained me. I am about to go into the auditorium when I hear Mercedes singing on the other side.

-Mercedes singing-

"I see" I walk in to see her with a football player "Look I know my love seems odd but...I want you Mercedes!"

"I just feel like you do not trust me" Mercedes looks down and her face shows that she looks broken "I feel like I need to be something for you to want me truly..I am not a cheerio or anything special"

"A great actress, a great friend, a very kind soul" Both turn toward me as I walk up the stage to them "Someone with kind eyes, a caring nature, and a future so bright you can see the star shining beside me!...and Kurt of course"

"Why be nice?" I look at her boyfriend confused "She snapped pretty hard on you ma..Rachel"

"Thanks for my name" I look At Mercedes in the eyes and smile "Even when we fight we still have had each others backs"

"Because I know who my friends are" Mercedes sighs and stands up "I am sorry about what all I said to you Rach"

"Let's make a deal?" She looks at me intrigued "No more tantrums over us singing music by black artists and I will stop throwing tantrums when you want a solo"

"Two major things people dislike about us" She chuckles and I smile when she holds out her hand "I think I can take these terms"

I chuckle and pull her into a hug "I know you will be a star someday Mercedes" I pull back to see her smile and follow her line of sight when she frowns "He is in love with someone else but that boy loves you for you ok? Forget Sam and take him"

"Thanks" Mercedes smiles again "Could we...if you wanted to?"

"Imagine" she gives a nod and I look to the band "Follow us"

Everyone applauds and I look at mom who is smiling. This club will always be my family no matter what happens. I owe a lot to them and I want them all to succeed. They all can have great futures.
