Koko POV

"Bruh I know she didn't just cut that damn radio up on us" Trav asks in the back looking at Sneak and Teke with a hurt look on his face. August just shakes his head and I start cracking up. "Damn ma, I know you ain't laughing about it either" August says chuckling.

For some reason I start laughing so hard my stomach starts hurting, I mean I'm leaned up against the window tickled to death. Through the tears in my eyes I notice Aug looking at me. While laughing I cover up my smile trying my best not to snort when I laugh.

He grabs my hand and puts it in my lap, "don't cover up ya smile ma, it's beautiful" I immediately stop laughing and i blush clearing my throat wanting him to let my hand go before I hop on his ass. "Yung quit touching on my woman" Teke yells from the backseat.

"I'm not anyone's woman Teke, I'm not tied down to nobody" I said rolling my neck. August Sneak and Trav bust out laughing. "Damn twin she told ya dumbass" Sneak said to his twin Teke.

I started laughing with them while we made our way to the restaurants, I detoured a couple times showing them some of my old stomping grounds.

I didn't always live a luxurious life like many may think because of who my granddaddy is, I had to work my ass off for what I have, I was spoiled of course and got gifts but I work for majority of what I have. I grew up in THE roughest neighborhood of Memphis. Pine Hill, South Memphis I rep my code 38106 because it made me. I watched my mama struggle to pay bills after she and my daddy separated, came home plenty nights and the lights were off. We moved with my grandma when i was about 6 and stayed until i turned 15. I grew up around some of the worst people you'd come across. My uncle was one of the biggest drug dealers in Memphis and had connections everywhere. So our family was always protected. But growing up in the "hood" wasn't always bad, I wasn't just book smart, but I was hood smart. It's a jungle where I grew up and it was definitely nothing but survival of the fittest. My mama, uncles and brothers taught me the ends and outs of the game. People mistake me for prim, proper, and sweet little thing, but believe me when I say real G's move in silence. Don't let the looks fool you, I ain't with all that talking shit I'm bout that action cross me and you definitely get dealt with. Got goons everywhere, i'll have you dealt with and be no where around.

As a teen, I lived my double life. I had my church life and had a life that only some of my family and friends new about. I used to sneak out and run the streets and party, but best believe my black ass was back in that house before Ella Ray got home at 7 in the morning from work.

Now that I think about it, August and I had a couple things in common with the ways we grew up. Yea I'm a church girl, but I love my secular world music too. I definitely knew who August was when I saw him, probably one of his biggest fans, but I wasn't going to let him know that or see me sweat. He had to work for my attention 😏💁🏾 Being with my grandaddy, I always came across celebrities so I was cool. But I had to cross my legs so damn tight when I saw him cuz baby boy is FINEEEEE!

I felt a tap on my shoulder knocking me out of my thoughts "Ma you good?" I blinked a couple times and looked around to see them all staring at me. "Why y'all looking at me like that" I asked with an attitude like nothing happened and continued driving. "So you gone act like yo ass wasn't just staring into space, the light green fool go" Sneak said while laughing.

"Uh quit back seat driving, I got this you just ride" I said with a smirk "Well excuse the hell out of me but you know what you real chill for a church girl tho, I thought ya ass was gone be uptight listening to hymns all damn day since you are the pastors granddaughter" he said laughing while everyone else nodded in agreement. I placed my hand over my chest and gasped pretending to be hurt "that's what y'all thought about me 😒 I'm offended" they all shrugged and laughed.
