August POV
"Hol' up I'm racing too" Someone yelled and we turned to see Koko coming out the house in this pink and black 2 piece
"Lawd have mercy" I mumbled eying her coming down the steps of the deck
"Damn.." Everybody said turned around looking at her
"Yung Ian know she had no shape like dat" Knuck whispered "Shid me neither, and shut yo ass up fo' Ky hea you" I nudged him
"THAT'S MY BEST FRIEND YOU BETTA SLAY BIH!!" Dominique yelled from the pool and Koko laughed
"You look good baybeh" my mama snapped her fingers
"Yass boo you workin that swimsuit, turn around for us" Cha encouraged Koko and she did "Look at that ass tho bih" Ky yelled laughing
"Aye no don't! Stop looking at her" I yelled and everybody laughed
"I'm racing too" she stood at the end of the pool by us
"Hell nah I'm out" Neno shook his head laughing and sat on the bank
"Awe Neno come on, Ima give y'all a head start" Koko laughed
"Nope, you not bout to show out on me I'm good" he shook his head
"Alright, anybody else out?" She smiled "Nah we in cuz you gone lose" I spat and she shrugged "Dom record this please" she winked and Dom took out her phone
"Okay T countdown" Teke yelled
"On ya mark, get set, go!!" He yelled and we took off, after about 5 seconds of swimming I heard a loud splash but I kept going and once we reached the other end I came up and Koko flipping her hair outta her face.
"Who won?" I questioned "She did by a long shot" Ky laughed "hell nah no she didn't" Travis argued
"Let's see the video" Knuck suggested and Dom walked over and lowering her phone so we could see
When T said go we all took off swimming but Koko stood their a minute dancing and then dove in and stayed close to the bottom. She flew past Teke and Trav and we were probably halfway the pool but she was about to reach the other end. She won and that was without a doubt.
"Damn she fast as hell" T laughed
"I tried to warn y'all her and Dom were competitive swimmers that's why I ain't race her ass. She good at every fucking thing she try" Neno chuckled hopping off the bank and into the pool.
"Damn y'all let her beat ya" my mama laughed holding Callie
We all swam around and playing in the water with the kids for a while, to see Koko interact with all of my family and friends including my nieces and my nephew and to see that they like her made me happy.
Chay nem been hollerin bout she takin them to the nail shop tomorrow and then Lil Jamal going to the movies with her. That's all they been talking about since we been out here in this pool.
I hopped up and sat on the bank next to Teke who was hold Dill Pickle. "Hey Dill Pickle" I tickled her and she laughed "Kiss...kiss" I puckered my lips and Sneak leaned her over and she pecked my lips.
I watched Koko swim around and her acting like a big kid it let me know her moving down here was a goos thing. I know she misses home sometimes but I think she's happier down here.
It was for the most part dark out now but the pool light and torches were lit giving us light.
"My nigga really like her don't you" Teke laughed nudging me breaking me from my thoughts
"Yea, she ain't like no other girl I've been with" I explained
"I know, don't mess this up Yung. I promise you don't want to lose that one. Stay faithful because these hoes outchea ain't worth ya losin lil mama over thea" He preached
"I preciate that Teke, real shit" we shook hands
"Hea she come now" he said and I looked up and Koko was swimming over to us
She came up and rested her arms on my legs for support to help keep her afloat
"Get off me" I said with an attitude pretending to be mad and she chuckled
"Why? What I do?" She questioned
"Cuz I don't want you on me that's why" I looked down at her and she smirked
"I know you ain't salty cuz you lost" she teased "Ain't nobody salty" I rolled my eyes
"As little Terry would say Yes-huh" she chuckled "Nunhuh" I said messing with her
"If you not mad at me give me a kiss" she puckered her lips and I shook my head no
"C'mon Aug give me a kiss" She tilted her head to the side and I sighed "No" I kept talking to Teke
She slapped my thigh "Babe for real give me a kiss" she huffed. I hit her arm "Don't hit me and I said no" I said and she made a pout face "Fine" she was about to swim off but grabbed my arm and pulled me in, in the process.
I came up and everybody was laughing including Callie and Dylan, I looked up and she had climbed out and was standing on the bank sticking her tongue out at me.
"Ooo I gotchu, just wait" I squinted my eyes pointing at her and she laughed and walked over to where my mama was and got a towel drying herself off walking of the stairs of the deck and into the house.
"Y'all so cute" Cha teased "Shut up!" I spat at her and she laughed.
Bout another 45 mins everyone was out of the pool and dried off.
"Koko!" Everyone yelled standing in the foyer "I'm coming" she walked around the corner in some nike shorts and a tank top combing her hair out. I'm assuming she got in the shower and washed her hair.
"We getting ready to go girl" Ky said hugging her and them Koko hugged Dylan
"Everybody leaving" she looked around
"Yea" everyone said scattered and hugged her
My mama nem said their goodbyes and went over to my house, I closed the door behind them and turned around. "Ima go shower and I'll be back" I stated and she just looked at me blankly "I don't care you wouldn't give me a kiss" she continued combing her hair
"Whatever open this door or I'm hopping the fence and coming in through the back" I said and left out and I heard her clicking the locks as I left.
"Uncle Aug I really like Koko, she fun" Kay Kay said eating a popsicle in the kitchen as I came through the door
"You do?" I smiled
"Yea, and she pretty Uncle Aug. She your girlfriend right?" Kay said going in on that popsicle
"Yup" I popped the P and she laughed
"Good, cause I like her I want her to be my new auntie" she said with so much excitement
"For real, me too" I laughed and tickled her
I went to my room and hopped in the shower, I did my hygiene and then I decided to free ball and just put on some basketball shorts, a t-shirt, socks, and my red nike slides.
I kissed the girls goodnight, and told Cha I was going to chill with Koko.
I walked back next door and I rung the door bell and she did not answer the door "Now I told dis guh" I chuckled. I went through my backyard, hopped the fence, and walked up the stairs of her deck in the backyard and slid the patio door back.
