The ride to Kibutsuji's manor was a quiet one

The ride to Kibutsuji's manor was a quiet one. Well, of course, it was quiet, you were sleeping and completely out of it. Your head was leaned up against the window as your quiet breathing caused your chest to rise and fall.

Sitting in the back of a slow-moving vehicle, Kibutsuji watched you silently. You never ceased to surprise him. He had known something was strange about you. A demon...sleeping?

In what world did that happen?

He extended his hand to touch you.

Upon his hand making contact with your cheek you shivered, your body relaxed soon after and your quiet snores continued.

You were a demon possessing a human-like scent. You only faintly smelled of him, you smelt more sweet, like a shot of sugar.

More than that, you had been living a normal life, with human food and all, but demons couldn't eat human food. He wondered if you really were one of his kind. Had he created a half-breed?

He would find out soon enough.

He left his hand on your cheek as he stroked it ever so lightly.

He still hadn't figured out what to do with all these feelings that burnt in his chest. He found it inconvenient. It wasn't supposed to be so hard for him to adjust to you, and yet it was. He wasn't used to this. He wasn't used to all the love and lust he was feeling in his veins.
It was driving him over the edge. It had been such a long time since he had felt this way.

Suddenly, your body shifted.

In a split second, Kibutsuji retracted his hand from you. He positioned himself so that he was facing forward.

A second later, your eyes opened gently and you carried your body off of the window as you sat properly in the seat. You looked to your right to see Kibutsuji.

The suited emotionless man was facing forward, his short dark black locks falling down either side of his face. He sat straight his broad shoulders and defined sharp eyes being visible to you. Although his face was the same as before it was interesting seeing his hair at a shorter length and him dressed in a perfect suit. You continued admiring him for a couple more moments as you silently smiled to yourself.

You were happy to be in his presence again.

"Muzan."

"Yes (Y/N)."

You spoke, "Can I lie on your chest?"

He turned to look at you, his eyes displaying little emotion.

You weren't sure if he'd allow you but soon enough he spoke.

"Come."

You shifted over to him placing your head on his chest.

He stroked your head slowly as the demon king looked down at you. You were so soft. Your body was so soft and his hormones had been awakened so he was actively lusting over you.

His eyes gazed over your lips as desires he didn't know a being such as himself could have began to bubble within him.

Was it bad that he wanted to strip you naked right here and now? He wasn't sure.

Trying to distract you, and himself, he spoke in a flat tone, "Why don't you take a look outside?"

You looked out and your eyes widened at what you saw.

Outside the window, you saw a white manor with large pillars and a clean grand appearance. The manor was bigger than any house you'd ever seen with a balcony at the top of the house, and lots and lots of well-cut green grass surrounding it.

Kibutsuji's manor was nothing short of a mansion and you could only stare at it in admiration.

Kibutsuji watched your awe-filled eyes in slight delight. He had officially distracted his mind.

You blinked a few times, "Rich no matter what era, huh?" you mumbled.

Muzan heard your words and couldn't help but smirk. He now had a strange desire to continue impressing you.

As the moving vehicle slowly came to a rest, you entered through the grand front doors of the manor. The inside of the home looked just as well as the outside, both being equally stunning. The marble floors and furnished inside paired with the large space, caused you to not know where to look.

Kibutsuji wasted no time leading you to the west side of the large home. He had decided this was where you would reside and also, the only place you'd be allowed to be.

He walked eyes facing forward as the demons passing by froze and bowed to the demon king.

You walked behind him earning a gaze or two from the passing demons and it caused you to feel a bit queasy.

Was your husband so important in the modern era? He had quite the presence.

He continued walking for several moments until he came to an isolated area of the hallway. He entered a room and peered a bit deeper before stopping.

"You'll be staying here."

Your feet also stopped to see you were in a bedroom. The wooden furniture and silky white bedsheets appealed to you. The room was quite big with a large bookshelf and wide-open space. It even had a second room attached to it. You bit your lip.

You would be staying here? It seemed so exclusive to you.

You felt awfully strange. You felt you should thank him.

Your mind wandered in circles trying to figure out how to say it, you thought of how to phrase your ideas but each thought came off cringy and over complicated.

You decided on a simple, "Thank you."

Of which Kibutsuji replied with a nod.

He reached his hand out to you and placed it on your head giving you a single pat. You smiled feeling his hand make contact with your head. You looked up at him lovingly and seemingly, he unconsciously returned it with soft fond eyes.

"I have much business to attend to," he spoke in a velvety tone, "I won't be able to remain with you."

You were slightly disappointed with his words, as just seeing him again, there was so much you wanted to do with him. Too much.

Kibutsuji turned his back to you and began walking away when you spoke.

"When will you be back?"

"Soon enough," he commented.

He continued his walk right outside of the door before closing it shut behind him.

He stood in front of the room for several moments hearing what sounded like you getting ready for bed. He was satisfied you accepted everything so easily.
