After you had helped Muzan conquer the sun things shifted a bit.

The demons around you began to treat you with a level of respect that wasn't there before.

They began to address you as "Lady (Y/N)", and the servants that had always attended to you began acting extra extra catious around you.

They were all now blatantly aware that one wrong move towards you could result in their lives being taken by their master.

You, of course, were oblivious to such a fact as Muzan kept you in the dark about practically everything.

To you it was more like, all of a sudden, the demons you interacted with had become stiff.

It made you feel a bit uncomfortable, but you supposed it was because of magnitude of what you did.

The truth was, not only were the demons around you aware of what you had done for their master, they were also curious about you personally.

They wanted to know exactly who and what you were. They wanted to know how you had done what they had failed to do for hundreds of years.

Even the upper moons were curious. The rumours had spread far and wide to the point most demons knew of you, the rumoured demon that had brought their master the cure to sunlight and who was favoured by him so greatly.

You sat in bed knitting quietly by your window.

It had been three full weeks since you had seen Muzan.

Now that he was able to walk in the sun, he kept himself awfully busy.

You no longer had the opportunity to see him. It saddened you considerably.

Muzan had spent one thousand years in your absence so you knew there were loose ends he probably wanted to tie up now that he could walk under the sun but that didn't stop the fact that you longed for him to be home with you.

Your heart was attached to him, your desire for him insatiable.

You knew it was selfish to ask him to stop what he was doing to spend time with you, so you didn't tell a soul about it though.

Muzan had just begun to enjoy his freedom in the sun. You didn't want to be the one to take it away from him.

Still, it would be nice to be around him at least.

You wondered what he was doing right about now.

"Tell me why in nine months a demon was able to do what you have all failed to do in a hundred years?"

Muzan stood silently in front of all the upper demon moons in the infinity castle.

He wasn't particularly mad.

There was nothing to be mad about, his goal was now completed, and he was now just skeptical as to why it had taken so long.

They couldn't respond.

He looked at the seven of them in disappointment, "In the end, you all proved to be quite useless in finding the blue spider lily."

There was silence in the room and he moved on to a different topic.

Kibutsuji spoke, "I'm going to give the seven of you the ability to walk under the sun. From now on, the only priority you have is to get rid of the demon slayer corps. You failed to make yourselves useful to me before, be sure not to disappoint me again."

He observed them carefully as they all seemed to accept his order.

It was then that a thought from Daki caught his attention.

"Rumours? What rumours?"

Daki's eyes widened upon being put on the spot and she spoke plainly, "The one that there's a demon, (Y/N), and she's the one that found the cure to the sun."

He stared down at the female demon silently his eyes narrowing in distaste.

(Y/N)?

"Do not speak her name so casually. Address her as Lady (Y/N)."

Daki gave a nod soon after.

Muzan's thoughts wandered.

Had word spread that fast? He searched through the multitudes of his demon's memories on the spot and retraced the rumours back to two specific ones.

It seemed they couldn't keep their mouths shut.

He would kill them after the meeting.

Putting the thought aside, he looked away from Daki and back at the seven of them as a whole.

"I'm going to send one of you to go fetch (Y/N) for me."

(Y/N).

It'd been a while since he said your name.

It had been a while since he had last seen you as well.

Ever since you had helped him conquer the sun he had worked tirelessly to make sure all the other things he wanted fell into place.

The last step to his plans was having his upper-moons defeat the demon slayer corps. He wanted to focus on that goal, especially since Nakime had found the Ubuyashiki estate.

His five brains were focused on that goal. He didn't have time for leisure.

Despite knowing this, he decided he was allowed to spoil himself just this once by letting himself indulge in you.

He'd take his mind off of his ambitions for one night and spend some time with his woman instead. It didn't feel right that he had practically abandoned you after you had given him the gift of a lifetime.

He wanted to be by your side. He wanted to cement your relationship.

It was time he claimed you in every possible way, including, your body.

Douma spoke up, "Can I go retrieve her? I've heard so much about lady (Y/N)," he said excitedly, his rainbow eyes sparkling brightly, "can I fetch her for you?"

"No," he said sternly, "you cannot retrieve her," he said.

"What of me my lord?" Gyokko spoke in an excited tone immediately after.

"No," Kibutsuji responded.

It was clear to him that all of them were curious about you. From hearing their thoughts he could tell they all wanted to go, some more than others, but Gyokko and Douma were much too excited for his liking. He wanted someone calmer.

His eyes scanned throughout the upper demon moons deciding quietly who to pick. He preferred someone with a more human-like appearance so as to not scare you so Kokushibou was out of the question.

Hantengu and Gyutaro were just...no.

His eyes landed on Daki wondering if you'd feel more comfortable with a female demon and then slowly shifted to Akaza.

You'd met him before and so he assumed you'd be most comfortable with him.

He spoke, "Akaza, go bring (Y/N) to the Hariki town to meet me."

He bowed immediately accepting his order.

"You're all dismissed."
