The Jones were back home from their annual summer trip to Mr. Jones' parents' house just a week ago. It was already the last day of summer break.

Greg was lying on the living room sofa looking sad and tired. In front of him, on the tea table was some iced lemonade that he was drinking earlier. Mrs. Jones entered the room and looked at him, "Why are you lying around? Didn't you say you were going out?"

"I still have time", Greg replied tiredly.

"You're starting school tomorrow. You can not lay around like this", Mrs. Jones reasoned while folding the fresh and clean clothes.

"So, school starts tomorrow...", Greg talked to himself in a low tired voice. It was hard for his brain to register that Summer Breaks were almost over. That means no more staying awake late at night and sleeping until noon, no more playing video games all day long, and no more holidays. Moreover, his boxing season was starting again.

Greg was meeting his best friend, Toby at a nearby coffee shop. They both ordered two iced tea for themselves and was drinking them slowly. Toby Fishers lived close to the Jones family. Unlike Greg, he didn't like boxing or anything that includes punching each other. How these two became friends...that's a mystery.

"We didn't get to go to the beach together this summer", Greg said.

"You are saying it like we went last year or the year before. And, today is the last day of summer break", replied Toby before taking a sip.

"So, summer is over for this year...", Greg trailed off.

"Come to think of it, we didn't do anything during the break this year too. Do you remember the last day of school before summer break?", asked Toby.

"The first semester is finally over." Greg declared happily.

It was the last day of school before the summer vacation. Anyone could tell that the students looked beyond excited. A good long break from school and a visit to the beach were what everyone was looking forward to.

Greg and his best friend, Toby were walking home, making plans for summer.

"Summer break starts tomorrow. What do you want to do?", asked Toby.

"I want to go to the beach. You should come with me." Offered Greg.

"Yeah? That sounds nice. We can play beach ball and we can eat some Fried Clams and Local Oysters...and not to mention...there's always girls at the beach...", Toby gave a 'you know it' smile and poked Greg.

"I'm so looking forward to summer break", stated Greg.
