The Freedom was now out of hyperspace and was drifting through the empty space except for the giant blue planet ahead. Like they predicted, Ahch-To is a planet completely covered in the blue vastness of the sea. There were several small spots of land in the shape of islands. It was even dubbed the water world to some folks around the galaxy.
"So that's Ahch-To. It's blue like you." Stan said with a teasing end of his sentience.
"Very funny." Krystal said as she poked her tongue at him. Then she went back to the map on her screen to see if there is an island large enough for them to perform repair. Some of them were too small for the Freedom to land and to be repaired. Others were large enough for them. But which one would safe? Is one of them a trap? Or is it unfriendly by natives? Krystal knew that some folks in different planets can be unfriendly and be somewhat rude, greedy, or just plain stupid. They would have to think carefully before making a choice.
So with that in mind, she closed her eyes to see which island is the best for them to land. Her telepathy scanned the whole island to find any form of life and determine who is friend and who is foe. So far, she found one. She began punching the concordance on the computer and the ship soon moved towards that particular island.
"Found a good spot." Krystal announced. "It big enough for us to make repairs. Hardly any hostility there. And...wait...there's someone there too."
"The Empire?" Stan asked in a worried tone.
"No. But...that's odd. His mind is blocked by something. He is awake, but his mind and thoughts is concealed." Krystal turned to Stan with a surprised look on her beautiful face.
"That is odd. Your telepathy has never steered you wrong. Do you know how it's blocking you?" Stan asked.
"It's...hard to explain. But at least I can tell it is friendly. That much is clear."
"as long as it's not the Empire, I'll take it." Stan then resumed control of the ship and steered it towards the island.
As they entered the planet's atmosphere, Stan was careful to keep the speed in a safe level so that the ship will not burn up in entry. The Freedom had made several burned up entries and made it out alive, but the damage to the engine could be a massive problem is it enters in such speed that it would cause the entire ship to break apart. So it was all about care and speed in this situation as Stan can hear the damaged engine making such wailing noise.
Soon, they made it and were now flying around the planet. The skies were clear with several heavy clouds. Some of them are white while some are dark and ready to expel water from evaporation and produce water in a cycle as it does for every state of matter. The ocean was calm, several small ripples forming as the sea was in a perpetual state of motion. One could say it was the calmest looking sea one would set eyes upon. Krystal thought it was beautiful.
Ahead of them was their destination: A large island with several grass around the top. There was no form of beaches everywhere as it was all rock formation with no sign of sand on the edges. The Island was also shaped to be like a mountain, a mountain that is submerged by the surrounding water to form a large island. It was almost breathtaking.
Soon enough, they found a flat ground on the island large enough for the ship to land and to perform repairs. Stan carefully guided the Freedom in the perfect spot and brought the landing gears out to support the ship onto the ground. As the gears touched the solid flat rock below, the ship moved down a bit before stopping as if the springs were pushed upon.
"Perfect landing as usual." Stan commented proudly.
BB-8 just chirped while shaking its head.
"What? Oh come on, that was perfect. Name one that is better." Stan ordered the droid. After it beeped one event, Stan blinked. "Ok ok. THAT, was better."
