"What the?" Stan asked himself as something in the cabinet was moving. How was this possible? He and Krystal never took in any other species onto the ship, and the empire as not got onto their ship without Krystal knowing. But whatever or whoever is in there has the wires in it that he needed.

Taking a deep breath, Stan got closer to the cabinet door and carefully placed his ear on it to see if he can hear what it was. He was able to get some sounds. Sounds of little feets and flapping arms. He had his small blaster with him in order to take it out in case it was hostile. And after a few minutes, he decided to place his hand on the door and slowly open it.

As the door swinged opened, two Porgs came out of the cabinet while screeching a Porg cry. One had orange markings while the other did not. The none orange marking Porg is a female that is slightly smaller than the male.

Stan was taken by surprise by these creatures. He had never seen such avian species before. He questioned how they got aboard the Freedom and why they were in the storage room with spare parts. He wondered if they got inside while he was looking at the engine without him knowing. And if so, why didn't Krystal sense them? None of it was making sense to the young mercenary.

But then something caught his attention: One of the Porgs was carrying a set of blue wires in its beakless mouth; a wire he needed to replace the damaged one of the engine and it was the only one left. They soon darted out of the room and ran outside.

"HEY!" Stan shouted as he ran to catch the little thieves. "COME BACK HERE WITH THAT!"

The Porgs soon got to the entrance and exited the Freedom into the island with Stan giving chase. He didn't have time to alert BB-8 or Krystal about the birds escaping. Those wires were the only ones left and without them, they will never leave the island and the empire would most likely attack them.

He was thankful that these creatures didn't fly nor got too far as they went near what looked like a nest with three small fur balls in it. Stan managed to hid in the corner knowing they would run off with the wire again. He waited for the right moment to take the wire and get back to the ship for repairs. He tried not to make a sound yet until they were away with the wire in the nest. This was a waiting game.

The Porg female with the wire placed it between the three balls and adjusted it until it was satisfied with its position. Then the two Porgs just took off flying to wherever they were heading towards. This was the break Stan needed.

As Stan slowly moved out of hiding, he looked around to see if the creatures have truly left out of fear that they would fly with the wires again. As soon as it was clear, he took a deep breath and but his blaster away while walking towards the nest. He saw the three balls and wondered what they were. Were they eggs or were they just creatures? There was so much about these Porgs he had no knowledge of. But that would wait for another time and time was against them.

As Stan was reaching for the wires, the three balls soon moved and showed themselves as Porglets; baby Porgs. They were smaller than the Porg with their eyes shut, their fur color is still lightly cream color as their fur color is still developing. They were flapping their tiny wings up and down while making baby chirps. One of them was soon muzzling onto Stan's hand.

Stan was taken by surprise one again. Although he had no clue about the Porgs, he figured that these were babies. Babies belonging to the two little thieves who took his wires. He couldn't help but smile over how cute these little Porglets are. So cute that they made him forget about how angry he was, but not to the parents who just arrived.

They got in front of nest and began making angry noises while frowning at him, clearly telling him to get away from the hatchlings. Stan was not angry, but was understanding. Any parents would go to such great length to save their children from any form of danger, even at the cost of their own lives. But with that, getting the wire was still his main priority. Without any way of convincing them, he opened his Comlink to call Krystal to settle the matter.
