Rescue and Escape

At the main deck, soldiers and workers were running around, working to counter the situation they had just experienced. Among them, General Swift was not happy at all. His soldiers should be able to handle the situation no matter what they are. But the fact that Neo caught them by surprise and destroyed most of the hanger was unpredictable.

"I want all monitors online within every sector of the ship! I want them alive!" He shouted.

"General! We're picking up a signal!" One of the lieutenants spoke.

Swift turned around to face him. "Is it the Republican Army?"

"No sir. Just one ship. And it's still in Hyperspace...wait...oh no."

"What is it!?" Swift demanded. But before he could respond, a Republican ship just popped out of nowhere and was in the hanger where Neo caused chaos. Swift saw it from the monitor screen. People thought it just appeared out of thin air, but the General knew better. He then turned to the control panel and activated the speaker through out the ship.

"ATTENTION ALL TROOPERS! WE HAVE A REPUBLICAN SHIP WITHIN HANGER 42! DEPLOY ALL UNITS TO ATTACK!"

Within Hanger 42 was the same ship that just appeared out of nowhere. Inside the ship were two men who were sent there by the Supreme Chancellor to rescue the Mercenaries. These two were Dell and Flynn.

Dell Conagher was a male human who was around his mid 30's and is wearing a simple engineering gear with a yellow safety hat and goggles that displays eye movements to mimic his expression. He was the pilot of the ship and was the sole reason that it popped out of nowhere. In fact, he used a simple trick of using the hyperspace speed to his advantage and exit out of it at just the right moment and stopped. It was all about key timing and speed, which he was a master of thanks to his tinkering on the ship and his experience.

The other was Flynn Taggart. He was a muscular soldier with short dark hair and brown eyes and is taller than engineer by a few inches. He is also considered one of the new types of soldiers brought to the Republic to act as their new military system and to protect them from the Empire. They were called, The Night Sentinels. They were once warriors protecting the galaxy from forces beyond Jedi or Sith, and remained strong since then. Flynn was considered the best of the best. Even calling him, Doomguy.

"Perfect timing as usual." Flynn commented as he got his helmet on.

"It's all about timing and tinkering. But It was a little too close." Dell then looked at the screen while tinkering with the controls to keep the ship running. "Ok. They should be around here somewhere. But we're not gonna be alone for much longer."

"You do your thing. I do mine." Flynn grabbed his Shotgun and loaded it, ready to cause some mayhem.

Dell nodded as he opened the hanger door.

Flynn soon got out just as the Stormtroopers arrived. They all froze as they saw Flynn. They've heard stories about him as the Doomguy, and how he'd managed to destroy a whole base from one of the Sith Empire Outposts. They remained still for a good while, not moving an inch or moving their heads. Flynn gripped tightly on his shotgun and waited for them to make the first shot.

"OPEN FIRE!" One of the Troopers shouted, prompting all of them to follow orders and fire.

Flynn dodged them as he ran to the side and shot several troopers in the heads, killing them instantly. He then jumped high and pressed a button from the back of the handle and a pair of hooks popped out from the front. It fired and pierced through the floor like a hook and pulled Flynn down in such terrifying speed that the blaster firing missed him. He slammed his feet onto the ground, causing a shock wave that caused many troopers to lose their footing. He then killed two of them by slamming their helmets at each other and grabbed one of their grenades and threw it at the other side, blowing them up.
