Getting the knife.

It was the second day of Lucifer's job, she was very serious now she needed that knife today, there couldn't be any other day, otherwise she would just prove to be the disappointment in the family. Lucifer  didn't want to show them her weakness.

"Detective mill..there's something I need from the property room..can I head down there?" Lucifer said looking at her.

"Okay sure go ahead, I trust that you won't do anything stupid..there are cameras down there now we've finally fixed them." Detective said to Lucifer.

"Of course."

Lucifer went down to the property room, she made sure to make all the cameras stop working just for a little while, so she can search for the knife, of course it would continue to work right after she got what she needed.

Finally she had found the knife, "oh my god..it's here..finally..I'm going to take you back where you belong, this isn't a place for you." She said looking at the knife.

She hid the knife in her pocket, and made the cameras start working again, leaving the property room.

She went straight to the chief.

"I need to take an early day today if you don't mind." Lucifer told the chief.

"Are you sick? Is something wrong?" The chief said concerned for her.

"Yes im coming in with a serious cold it's best if I stay home for a few days and possibly wait until it's over I wouldn't want anyone else here to get sick you know how it is.." Lucifer said smiling a bit.

"Oh sure whatever you need Lucifer and great work on your first case by the way, I don't know what it is you did to make detective mill speak so positively about you, but it worked, I hope you two can continue to be good friends like that, it's definitely gonna be great for the both of you on your future cases." The chief said happily.

"Yes well the case turned out alright and she was happy with the results, anyways I've really gotta get going now."

"Alright feel better." The Chief said to Lucifer.

"Thanks." Lucifer said leaving out of there in no time.
