Date gone wrong.

Detective mill was outside Lucifer's apartment and it was finally time for the date. Lucifer opened up the door to let Josie in. "Wow you look stunning." Josie said smiling as she walked into Lucifer's apartment.

"I could say the very same for you, welcome." Lucifer said smiling slightly.

"Wow..you really did a lot..there's candles and wine..it's romantic, the food also smells really good I can't wait to dig in." Detective said laughing a bit.

" I'm really glad you like it I just wanted to do something special for you, you deserve it." Lucifer said winking.

"Are you kidding I love it!"

Detective mill says sitting down to have dinner with Lucifer.

"I'm really glad I'm here with you today."  Mill said smiling.

"I am very glad to be on a date with you, I really do admire you. I never really cared much for humans before I met you." Lucifer told her.

"That's really great..and all..but why do you always speak like that? I have to ask why do you keep this whole persona, you know the one about you being the actual devil?" She asked.

" well  it really isn't a persona. It's  just many people don't want to believe because  who knows maybe their afraid? Of course they'll believe that my father God exists but it's so hard for them to believe that the devil actually exists as well. Though, if you think about it There's always a balance where Good and bad exists.. of course you already know about the stereotype. The devil is always bad and God is always good but it depends on what a person might believe, maybe they don't believe in anything at all, even God."

"Well..I certainly don't believe in evil..but you can't truly believe that? You must've really went through a lot of trauma..but don't worry I'm here for you." Mill said sighing.

" look it's fine if you don't wanna believe that I am the devil.. but it's always gonna be who I am it's my identity and I can't change who I am and I've already said it's not some persona I'm displaying, but if you don't want to think about it because your afraid...I'll give you time."

" it's not because I'm afraid I'm worried for you I mean I just wanna be here for you. Listen, i'm really good friends with a therapist and while I'm away at work you could go over there maybe talk to her I think it would really help you and she's a really good therapist I've had her when I was going through some hard times and I got better thankfully to her, I know you will too."

"look Josie, i'm grateful that you're trying to be here for me and all but this whole thing doesn't suit you and quite frankly there's nothing wrong with me if you can't believe me I don't know how this is ever going to work.. I really hate being pitied I came here to have a good time with you I tried so hard to make this date romantic, to make it work,
To make you happy, so that you might actually like me a bit more but I realized you just feel sorry for me I don't even think you like me I think it's best if you just go.."

"Lucifer please, you know I didn't mean it like that I just wanna be a good girlfriend to you why can't you see that? I'm just trying to help I don't know what you've been through and it's OK if you don't feel comfortable sharing that with me right now..but it's so selfish of you to push me away  this is really mean and unfair."

" we are not together and you are not my girlfriend and this conversation is over I said get out before things get worse." Lucifer yells and her real form appears in front of mill which becomes very frightening.

"What the.." mill said grabbing her things and leaving very fast.
