A new job for lucifer.

After detective mill's job she hurried over to lucifers apartment. She was excited to help her find a job but also just to be around Lucifer.

Mill was finally happy that things were starting to work out for her, although she couldn't tell if Lucifer actually liked her or if the kiss was just a one time thing.

Though it was still weird to her that, Lucifer pretended to be the actual devil. It freaked her out a little but it didn't stop her from liking Lucifer.

She just thought that maybe Lucifer loved using this persona for fun, so she tried not to judge it, but it made her wonder, why does Lucifer use this persona, is that even her real name? But of course, she didn't wanna ask about it too soon, so mill thought she'd wait a bit.

"So anyway are you ready? I hope you're excited, these jobs might be even more fun than being a detective.." Mill said smiling cheerfully at Lucifer.

" of course and thank you again for helping me with this. You could come to me for help anytime if you need it as well." Lucifer said trying to be kind.

"Oh thanks, let's get going then." Detective mill said walking out with Lucifer. "Okay great." Lucifer said all happy.

Lucifer and mill went to all the places that the detective knew, some of her friends worked at a cashier, and some at a bar.

The cashier type of job didn't really suit Lucifer. However she was really liking the job at the bar, making drinks for people while she collected their money was actually fun.

"Wow I love this job at the bar, I might actually consider working here..I like it." Lucifer told mills friend. (Lisa)

"That's great because we really need another employee right now, last one was a total bitch we had to fire her, otherwise she'd just make more problems for us, every time she came in there was new drama..I couldn't handle it."

"Well lucky for you I might be the best employee you'd ever have so consider me working here by Monday. I think that's when I start right?"

"Yes that is when you start. By the way I hope you don't mind me asking but you must be really close with Josie right? I mean she doesn't just do this for anyone you'd have to be like more than a friend for her to help you out like this.." her friend said smirking.

"oh, honestly I don't know what we are I was thinking about it lately but I have no clue we kissed one time but we never really talked about it.. although she does seem different after the kiss and by different I mean much nicer not like how she was with me before the kiss...she hated me before that." Lucifer said laughing.

"anyway I'm just glad she's finally happier and well kind of found someone. She deserves it you know? she deserves to be happy.. her ex was a real douche bag and he put her through a lot..but hopefully you wouldn't make the same mistake and that you could give her everything she deserves..truly." Lisa said to lucifer.

"Well I don't know if I can give her everything she deserves. I'm the devil after all most people see me as the bad person. I wouldn't even know if I'm making her happy or not because I can't read her expressions like I could with other people and it's strange but that's why I'm here I have to figure it out." Lucifer said sighing.

"Oh yeah...you did say your name is Lucifer is that just a nickname or is that your real name..? anyways whatever persona you have going on I'm sure it's for a good reason maybe it's even the way you cope.. but you don't seem like a bad person and you make her really happy from what I can see so just continue to do that but if you ever hurt my best friend I'm going to kill you." Lisa said smiling.

"It's not a persona I'm actually the devil, like I am really Lucifer, I know no one will ever truly believe me so it's not worth trying to convince you and you wouldn't be able to kill me either it's not possible but I wouldn't hurt her on purpose. She's a really good person and she does deserve the world so I'm going to try my best to give her the world." Lucifer says patting lisa's shoulder.

"Whatever you say girl..see you on Monday."

"Yeah..see ya." Lucifer said waving.

Lucifer went outside to meet up with mill. "so how did it go? did you like the job? Is she hiring you?"

"I love the job and it's something that I could do here while I stayed on earth.. you're best friend seems really cool, and yes of course I charmed my way into that lovely job..I'll be working here on Monday." Lucifer said hugging mill. "So thanks once again." Lucifer told mill.

"I'm so glad that you got the job she must've really liked you then again who wouldn't? But anyways it's no big deal you don't have to continue thanking me."

"of course I do I'm so thankful to you without you I wouldn't even have this job..its all thanks to you.."

"Yeah, good..let's go on a date." Mill said bluntly.

"Wow that was unexpected but sure I'd love to go on a date with you." Lucifer said holding her hands and walking with her.

"Good." Mill said smiling all happily with Lucifer.
