My hand stops midway when I hear footsteps, I guess Loki hears it too, because he lifts his head from my laps, my hand falling from his hair. He'd gotten tired after looking through my head- with my permission, to see Frigga's funeral.

He puts up an illusion, of him standing and me sleeping on his bed as Thor walks in.

"Thor, after all this time and now you come to visit me. Why? Have you come to gloat? To mock?" Loki taunts.

"Loki, enough. No more illusions." Thor says and Loki tensed before looking at me and I gave him a nod. He lets the illusion fade, revealing the true state of the cell.
"Now you see me, brother. Did she suffer?" He asks as I tensed as it flashed in my eyes again.

"I did not come here to share our grief. Instead I offer you the chance of a far richer sacrament." Thor says.

"Go on." Loki says.

"I know you seek vengeance as much as I do. You help me escape Asgard and I will grant it to you, vengeance. And afterward, this cell." Thor states and Loki chuckles.

"You must be truly desperate to come to me for help. What makes you think you can trust me?" Loki asks.

"I don't. Mother did. Lady Stark does. You should know that when we fought each other in the past, I did so with a glimmer of hope that my brother was still in there somewhere. That hope no longer exists to protect you. You betray me and I will kill you." Thor says, sending me a pointed look.

"Hmm. When do we start?"

Loki, Thor and I walk out of the Asgardian prisons and I've rolled my eyes like a billion times, within these few minutes. It's like Loki likes- no scratch that, he loves the sound of his voice. The god hadn't stopped talking since Thor got him out.

"This is so unlike you, brother. So clandestine. Are you sure you wouldn't rather just punch your way out?" He asks Thor.

"If you keep speaking I just might." Thor retorts looking around for guards, as we should.

"Fine. As you wish. I'm not even here." He says as he used his magic to make an illusion of an Asgardian guard.
"Is this better?"

"It's better company at least." Thor replies.

"Still, we could be less conspicuous." He says, returning to his normal form.
"Hm, brother. You look ravishing." He says making me turn to Thor- well Sif.

"It will hurt no less when I kill you in this form." She replied in Thor's voice.

"Very well. Perhaps you prefer one of your new companions, given that you seem to like them so much." He says before returning Thor back to himself.

I look around for guards and my step falter when I hear a familiar voice. "Oh, this is much better. Woh. The costume's a bit much, so tight. But the confidence, I can feel the righteousness surging. Hey, you wanna have a rousing discussion about truth, honor, patriotism? God bless Amer-"

He cut off when Thor slams him into the wall, pulling me too, making his illusion disappear.
"What?"

Thor looks to the side and we see two guards walking away.
"You could at least furnish me with a weapon. My dagger, something!"

Thor looks at him and we hear a noise like a sword being drawn.
"At last, a little common sense-" he trails off when he realized he'd been tricked. He raised his cuffed hands glaring at Thor.

"And I thought you liked tricks." Thor retort making me burst into a fit of giggles as we walked away.

We reached a corridor, waiting for Jane and Sif to join us. Loki was quiet now, looking around cautiously, making me wonder why we didn't cuff him from the beginning. It clearly got him to stop rambling.
