Narrator's PoV:

[Y/N] pulled away from him. Red Velvet was close to their face whilst talking to them. His cold breath hit their face; his grip on their chin ached with pain. A light pink tint spread across their face. He seemed to notice and pulled away, yet moved his claw hand down to theirs; he grasped it tightly and didn't let go. "If you would've gotten caught..." He mentioned, rubbing the back of his neck. Scratches appeared on their hand from his grip. A red claw mark grew wider and wider- [Y/N] winced in pain. They bit their cheek and hoped he'd let go. Of course, he wanted an answer yet [Y/N] wasn't in the mood for lectures. I mean, when were they?

"I know, I know...you don't need to remind me," they whispered in response, attempting to pull their hand out of his.

"But, what even made you want to come here?" He asked, looking at them. He had a concerned, I guess you could say, expression, unusual for a villain. Heavily sighing, [Y/N] zoned out, deep in their thoughts. All they were thinking about was how close to their face he was.  And the fact he was touching their hand; made their mind race with wild thoughts. Why were they blushing at him? He's the one who re-captured them after all. Maybe they'd forgotten all about it.

"You see...uh..." At that moment, [Y/N] glanced over at him, and their eyes locked. He was staring, if not, gazing at them. Yet, there wasn't much of a hidden answer to that. They couldn't help it. Red Velvet shuffled closer and held both of their hands. It was different, it almost felt strange. They were speechless. It'd been long before someone touched them like that. [Y/N] thought they were a nobody. Until they met Dark Choco, that is. He never had much time to make an impression though. Maybe it was fate that brought them to this? However, that didn't matter at the minute.

Red Velvet's eyes darted to the opening door, and [Y/N] rushed to hide behind another cabinet, yet full of books. Probably recipe books. The place smelt like cake batter. It was enticing. Pomegranate had heard whispering from the room and decided to check to see what was happening. [Y/N] covered their mouth in shock. Pomegranate had found out that [Y/N] had escaped their cell, and they were probably on the run as they spoke. He, Red Velvet, was ordered to go search for them, every corner of earthbread. They couldn't let their prisoner escape; they wanted them to suffer harshly, forever and ever.

Once everyone had left, [Y/N] darted to the door. They ran wherever their guts told them to go. They trusted their instincts. Luckily, they came to the entrance with two large doors and pushed them open with haste. Hurriedly, they rushed into the forest nearby, which was the Crimson Forest. Curses were believed to rest there until an unlucky person entered their territory. They never came back the same, as those who entered.

Hyperventilating, they came to a sudden stop and tried to breathe. Their pace was unsteady and shallow. They'd probably pass out. Their vision grew dizzy and faint but managed to keep them awake. Nearby, they heard water dripping and immediately followed the noise. To their surprise, they didn't find just a water fountain, but a whole waterfall. Yet that wasn't the main attraction. In the middle of the cascading waterfalls, a portal was conveniently placed there. Almost too good to be true. It must've been a trick. However, [Y/N] was foolish at times and strolled towards the portal, but were thrown backwards by a force field. Shoot. Someone must've done that purposely. Many curses lay in the forest, one of the many being no escape. But, who could be casting them? It was nobody other than...

Perched on the edge of the fountain was a bedraggled Pomegranate. Her eyes had bags and her hair was a mess. It was covered in sticks and her face had scratches on it. It was unusual. Why was she getting hurt? Unless she had tripped up multiple times. A devious smirk rested on her face as she strolled calmly over to [Y/N].

"You see Darling? There is no escape...we will always find you~..."
