Narrator's PoV:

Hyperventilating, [Y/N] woke up in a cold sweat, metal chains clinging to the floor. They were once again chained down. They let out a groan and rolled over, to see a dark figure leaning against their cell. "I mean, I warned you..." Red Velvet muttered, crossing his arms. He turned his head around to watch [Y/N] struggle. Even though he felt guilty inside, a smirk rested on his face. Maybe it did feel nice watching your enemies suffer.

It was restless that night. All [Y/N] could hear was the clinging of their chains, it rubbed against their bare arms. Early in the morning, they yet again woke up from their awful sleep, to hear screaming noises from nearby. What a lovely way to wake up! That was sarcastic- Anyways, [Y/N] sat upright and blinked a few times. It was pitch black and weirdly quiet, as per usual. Except there were woeful cries from nearby. They felt a sickness in their stomach, reminded of what was spoken the previous day: "We have captured Gingerbrave!"

Their breathing pace quickened up: they dreaded to think of what he was going through at that time, they just hoped it wasn't him. Well, they hoped it wasn't anyone. It's not pleasant to be tortured. Their head grew dizzy with each traumatizing thought. [Y/N] attempted calming down by taking slow, deep breaths, and sure enough, it worked.

Their attention was diverted to their cell door opening. In front of them, was Licorice. He appeared to be tired and pissed off like he was forced out of his sleep. Well, at least he even got sleep. Licorice unlocked the chains that held them in the corner. He grabbed their arm and dragged them to a dark misty room. Their vision was blurred at the time, so they couldn't properly see.

The next thing they knew, they were yet again chained down, but this time in a chair. At least there wasn't a bright light blinding them. Licorice stumbled over to the corner and watched as another cookie came closer. It was Pomegranate- who else could it possibly be?

"Now [Y/N], I'm sure you know why you're here right?" She started, trailing her fingers down a metal chain. [Y/N] shook their head. "You see, we know that you know of Dark Choco's whereabouts. Tell us where he is,"

[Y/N] bit their tongue and stayed quiet; there was no way in hell they would give information out to a villain. Pomegranate frowned at them.

"Why would you even want to know you- you devious witch!" [Y/N] retorted, sharply moving forward aggressively, yet the chains stopped them.

"Well because you know we-" Licorice answered, but was stopped by Pomegranate shooting him a glare. He rolled his eyes and left the room, slamming the door behind him.

"Tell us of the prince's whereabouts, or else...we'll make someone suffer~" Pomegranate smirked, covering her widening smile with her crimson sleeve. [Y/N]'s eyes widened, and the same sickness from earlier grew in their stomach. They felt a lump in their throat. Oh no she did not threaten them. [Y/N] was angered. They hated it. And they knew exactly who that "someone" was.

"No. NEVER! I-" [Y/N] shouted, but was stopped by Pomegranate hushing them.

"Dear, save your energy for later, maybe it'll come in handy when you need it," Pomegranate spoke. [Y/N]'s eyes widened again. Was she giving advice? Well, it was probably because they planned to torture them next. They heavily sighed, eyes focused on the floor. Just anything to avoid eye contact.

"Now Dear, where is the prince?~..."

Hope you all enjoyed it! I decided to release this chapter earlier just to say thank you for #1 in the tag #cookierun out of 4k books. I appreciate all your support! Anyways, as some may know I'm writing during my Wattpad break, but that doesn't mean I'm dead on the platform. It just means I have no motivation and am just stressed. The reason is that school starts again in a week- Thanks for reading and the next chapter should be soon!
