Yawning, [Y/N] peacefully woke up, as if nothing had happened beforehand. Affogato wrapped his arms around their waist and waited for them to wake up. "Thank goodness you're awake..." He whispered, stroking their face. [Y/N] raised an eyebrow, confused by how concerned he was. "You blacked out, falling face-first into the snow". It turns out, they had forgotten about it. They snuggled into his arms, trying to move away from the cold air from their open window. He sighed, smiling at the fact they'd given in to him.

"Now, you should probably get dressed, I'll be outside~" he grinned mischievously, hiding his usual devious plans.

[Affogato's PoV]

Hurrying out of the room, I make my way to the Black Citadel gates, avoiding the servants who were busy cleaning each Cacao wall and tile. Before long, I made it to the exit and swung open the gates with a dramatic demeanour. Pomegranate, Licorice, Poison Mushroom and Red Velvet stood there, Red Velvet seeming like he'd been forced to come along. I gestured my hand towards the dungeons, with a slight chuckle. It was...amusing...how a prince who betrayed his father ended up like this, his fate fading away every second.

[Narrator POV]

The Darkness group made their way slowly down the dungeons, hoping to not draw the attention of any nearby people. The dungeon door let out a prolonged scraping-metal noise, one that would make people cover their ears in hopes to avoid the shrieking sound. Pomegranate had a small smile resting on her face, one that would only appear when she got what she wanted. Affogato pulled out a disorganised set of keys and fidgeted with the locks until the door briefly opened; it was an old and rusty cell by now. It smelled too high heaven of mold, dirt and sweat, possibly even blood remnants.

In the far corner, Dark Choco sat there emotionless, not daring to merely glance at the five people behind. He heavily groaned as a sharp wave of pain washed over him as he tried to move. His body, legs to the torso, was covered in nasty bruises and scars, most likely infected by now. "These humble people require your presence, you filthy scumbag," Affogato spoke, emphasising the last phrase intentionally. Reluctantly, the ex-prince spun around, his red eyes sparking an ominous glow in the dark.

Pomegranate calmly strode towards him, a sly grin widening. She crouched down beside him and lifted his chin he had no choice but to remain eye contact. "Listen, Dark Choco..."

...

[Y/N] had been standing leaning against the wall inside their room for over an hour now, waiting on Affogato. He promised he'd be back, yet weirdly locked the door behind him. Perhaps he knew of their plans, or he had something going on 'oh-so-private'. [Y/N] chewed their lip, waiting still patiently for him to come, until a rustling of keys was heard in the lock.

"I'm sorry about that...Darling~" Affogato apologised, acting as if he meant it. They weren't oblivious- they knew of his intentions. [Y/N] sighed, and glanced down at his gloved hand in curiosity; there were specks of blood on his wrist. They narrowed their eyes at it, remaining focused. Affogato caught on pretty quickly, and hid his hand hurriedly behind his back, letting out a short awkward laugh. "How about we...uh, go into the throne room? We have some special guests who'd like to talk to you!"
