Chapter 18 – Switzerland and Germany and Denmark.

[28th of April – Bern, Switzerland; Hotel Belle Époque]

Taking the train from Milan to Bern in Switzerland was a wonderful experience, the landscape had been fantastic to see as the train drove by. Bern too was wonderfully different from any other country she had been in until now, with the houses and the clock tower in the middle of Bern's busiest street.

Like so many times before it was easy to book herself in a small cosy hotel, that looked like it had stretched back in time for a couple of generations.

Bern must be the city with the most charm to it because having travelled from Italy this place seemed to be small in comparison, but it had the most beauty and easy flow of the city that she couldn't help but miss.

Bernisches Historisches Museum / Einstein Museum this was the first museum here that she looked into and there was something respectable to the place that Cassiopeia loved to the core, a quiet pride they had, and it was held in a castle that had just the amount of history that such a place should have. Everything she looked at had interesting titbits of information that she loved to learn more about.

It had a very variation of collection, everything had a relation to the history of Bern, from prehistoric times to the more present times, other artefacts could also be seen on permanent display from Asia, Oceania, America and Egypt.

What she loved about the museum was the collective bronze figures, but also the clothes and the antiquities all around the room displaying a lot of how things were back in the day, just like they should be handled.

Let me tell you, there are a lot of museums around the places she had visited that had a lot of the same historical place in them making a lot of the places uninterestingly boring, but this was nonetheless different from anything else she had seen before.

After exploring the museum and taking advantage of that she was a very capable witch, she managed to see a lot of paintings up close that she wouldn't have been if she hadn't had the forethought to do something like casting a couple of spells that would make her unwatchable. Cassiopeia was also trying to take into consideration the worry Lucius had for her when it came down to her using too little of her magic that it was storing itself up underneath her skin.

In the end, she would try to make use of her magic more than she had done since it had been a while since used a lot of magic, it had been a couple of months since she constructively made use of her magic, not since before taking her OWL's and though since then she hadn't actually taken the time to actively doing something, so, she needed to study to the NEWT's and she would when she would spend it in her own home she had in Germany.

Yeah, her house in Germany that her elves and her account manager were making her look into while she spent some time in that country before Denmark. It also will be quite interesting to explore it and then there will be much studying then, as she had to, and it will also be a break in her travelling.

Now, she found an interesting restaurant by the name of Dampfzentrale, and they had something interesting on their menus making it quite an easy choice because it was new and she had never had it before, though, it was quite daunting to try something new.

Her readers wanted her to start up another category of her travels, that category was about food. A food critic, though, she wasn't someone that could do it but it was interesting to hear that they liked what she was reading about and that it could help people to choose where they were going to travel to and that they want her opinions though there were some people that threw her hateful comments. That was the only downside to having it, but the good ones always made up for those kinds of people – Cassiopeia looked at it like they were jealous over her freedom in how much she was travelling around.
