Tyler's POV

"Just calm down okay? Nothing would go wrong" Mum tries to convince me as the helps me arrange my hair that I'm certain I will mess up later

"I'm just really nervous. What if she doesn't like it" I question

"I'm sure she would love it. She likes anything you do for her" She says as she steps back from me to look at me

"Okay then. I better get going" I say as I stand up

"You know I'm really proud of you" Mum says as she cleans her imaginary tears

"Mum!!! It's just a date" I exclaim and she laughs

"I'll see you later okay? Don't kill yourself or anything!!" She yells as I walk out of the house

I get into my new car mum got for me some weeks ago and drive to a certain person's house

I got out of the house about a month ago and so I'm perfectly fine. My wounds have healed but I'm still not allowed to eat spicy foods. I'm still supposed to go for a check up once a month.

Well everything has been great since then. When my mum found out that it was Raymond that did all that to Emily she was beyond pissed.

The twins birthday was a week ago and it was amazing. I'm glad they had fun, Mum took them and a bunch of their friends to Disney land and they had another small party at the house. Mum renovated the house and got two new cars which I'm currently driving.

I had to get back to school and finish my exams. So now I'm about to be a senior by next semester.

The gang and I are pretty cool. Kayden and Evie have been good and now Derek and Kamsi are hooking up. But I'm not sure how that's going to end up for them.

Emily has been great but she had to start therapy because of what happened to her and I've been by her side since then. I kinda indirectly told her I had feelings for her which she never answered to. But we've been cool. I asked her out on Monday and she surprisedly said yes with the cutest blush ever.

And so here I am on a Saturday driving to her house slash mansion to pick her up. I've planned three things to do today and I just hope she likes it or else I would have to bury myself in the grave or something close to that.

I drive through the gate and park in front of the door. I get out and walk up to the large double doors and ring the door bell. My heart is seriously beating out of my chest right now.

A maid opens the door with a smile

"I'll go get Miss Emily but could you wait in the living room for a minute" she says and I nod. I follow her to the living room and take a sit on the couch then the maid walks away.

Okay I can do this. Don't do anything stupid.

"Hello there" a voice says making me look up. Penny, Emily's mum

"Um... Hello Miss" I say as I stand up

"You're Tyler right?" She questions

"Yes ma'am" I answer

"Please call me Penny and have a sit I've been meaning to speak to me" she says and I sit down, she sits next to me

"I just..... I just want to ask you how Emily is doing, you know? She hasn't told me that has been going on after the incident. All of them are still mad at me" she lets out a sigh

"She's doing pretty well. She's been going for therapy and I guess it's been helping her a lot" I explain and she nods

"I didn't even know the was going for therapy" she runs her hand through her hair. Sadness was evident on her face
