Tyler's POV

I'm late to class once again, I was helping Emily clean another deep cuts. This is getting out of control but she won't let me help her.

It's frustrating seeing someone you care about in pain and you can't do anything to stop that.

"Mr Miller, what have I said about tardiness" Mrs Phillip says as I enter class

"Sorry I'm late my dog died" I lie

"That's the same excuse you used yesterday" he says with a bored look

"I have plenty dog" I say in a matter-of-fact tone.

"Just go take you sit and never come late to my class" he says as I walk to my sit. We both know I'll come late next time.

I bring out my note book and begin to scribble on it. That's the only interesting thing here, his teaching is so boring.

After hours of classes and ranting, it's finally lunch time. I first of all walk to my locker to dump all my books.

"What's up?" Luke says as he approaches me

"Hey" I say as I lock my locker

"I never knew you have a thing for Em" he says and I look at him like he has two heads

"No I don't. We're just close nothing else" I say

"Then why did you guys almost kiss on the beach" he says

"You didn't see well, we never almost kissed" I lie

"So you don't have a thing for her?" He asks

"Yeah" I say

"Alright, you won't bother if I take her" he says and I feel angry all of a sudden

"Don't you dare take her out" I say angrily

"Dude chill. I'm just joking she's all your" he says. Now I feel like a fool.

Do I actually like Emily?

"What about Tammy?" I ask

"What do you mean?" He asks

"You guys have been hanging out together. It's quite obvious that you have feelings for her" I say with a smirk

"Me? Pfft. No?" He says, I think he's confused

"I ship both of you" I say, don't blame me, Emily is the one who taught me how to ship relationships. No pun intended.

"She doesn't even like me" he says with a hint of sadness

"Then ask her out" I say

"I can't ask her out. She's Tammy, she'll reject me" he says

"Suit yourself" I say and sit on our lunch table

"You didn't even- just forget it" Luke says and sits next to me

"Why's Luke sad and Tyler smirking? Tyler what did you do?" Tammy asks

"At least she cares about you" I whisper in his ear

"Why are you guys whispering?" Evie asks as she sits next to Tammy

"Nothing" Luke and I say at the same time

"Something's up" Emily says as she sits next to me. Where are they all coming from?

"Everyone let's focus on Evie. I like your hairstyle" I say, I'm trying to change the subject but the thing is Evie didn't change her hairstyle.
