"So when should we work on our project" Emily ask, I don't even know where she came from. It's a Friday and I'm at school again.
Boring
I just finished half of my classes and I'm by my locker. "I don't know" I say and shut my locker then face her
"Well, we can meet at your place tomorrow" she says
"What about your place?" I ask and she looks nervous all of a sudden
"Um...it's too noisy. So we're meeting at yours okay?" She says, I look at her for a long time before answering
"Okay" I simply say
We both walk to the cafeteria, we join the others on the table. She sits beside me, I bring out my phone and space out as usual.
"Why do you never eat?" Emily asks me
"I don't like eating" I say and she scoffs
"Stop lying. All boys love food" she says
"Well I don't" I say and she studies my face before turning to Kayden
"Why didn't you come yesterday to my place?" Kayden asks her
It sounds like he was planning something. Maybe he wanted to propose. Heh.
"I had work" she says as she eats her fries
"But you always come" he says with disappointment written all over his face. I can't help but laugh, how can all of them not know he is crushing on Emily so hard.
"Why are you laughing?" Tammy asks with curiosity
"Nothing" I say and stop laughing
"Alright. So there's this question I want to ask" Mason says
"Shoot" Paige says
"Emily, are you a lesbian?" Mason asks Emily and her eyes widen before she begins to laugh
"No I'm not. Why would you ask that?" She asks
"Well, your not interested in boys" Derek says
"I am" she says
"Then why aren't you dating? You don't even know how to blush. And you don't have a crush" Luke says
"I'm not dating cause I don't wanna and I know how to blush, I also have a crush" she says and everyone- except me ofcourse- eyes widen
"I've been waiting for this day!!" Tammy squeals
"Who is he?" Paige asks
"Well if you really want to know it's... Justin Bieber" she says and I laugh so hard
"I hate you" Paige says and throws some fries at her
"I love me too" she says and giggles
"What do you even see in that guy?" Kayden questions and Emily hits him
"Are you stupid? He is so adorable and his voice is so wonderful" she says as she fans herself
"I can sing too" Kayden says quietly, I don't think anyone heard him.
I almost feel sorry for the guy. The key word: almost
"So what are you guys doing Saturday?" Max asks
"Well, I'm going shopping with Tammy" Paige says
"What about you Emily?" Kayden asks her. I laugh mentally, the guy is trying so hard to hang out with her and she doesn't even realize it.
